Bobby Deol's Kareeb: A sweet innocent movie, but poor ending - Page 2

It did have the sweetest songs. I guess even now people would love them. It should be re-released on web platforms better.

Lol Bobby's side kick that boy.. the scenes were hilarious.

I thought the doctor in the second part was not needed at all. It didn't add anything to the story. He just helps the girl but expects her to marry him. Like seriously! And then Bobby doesn't get to know all that, so that side plot doesn't make a point. And the lottery thing, fraud and all that uff... they could have had Bobby take a job and loan something to help her mom. He was educated at least, but they showed him only washing clothes, and how much money one can make with that. Phew.

And thanks for posting those songs!

Oh my!! This "chura lona dil mera" song was everything. I love love that water hose part and the kitchen part hahaha! Such simple songs aren't made anymore.

The lottery plot IMO was the best. It made the situation frustrating and justified the thing he did afterwards. And who would have thought that frail old couple could've done that?

ETA: About the doctor angle... I guess Vidhu wanted to launch his brother as a second lead but he had to chop off that role coz the film was getting longer. His character probably was of Vinod Khanna's character in Chandni.

I started watching the movie on tv one day but then didn't get to complete it. I remember it being a sweet film with some great songs.

I didn't know the doctor dude was Vidhu's brother. So it's poora his family film haha. Mother in law's story and brother in a role. Thanks for letting me know. It makes sense to me now why that character existed which should not have!

I heard Vidhu bit Neha's hand to make sure which hand she gives Bobby to hold in a scene, as she was giving him the wrong hand... Bobby mentioned it in an interview that he felt bad for her. Sounds horrible.

The lottery stuff, it was a trick on viewers as well as Bobby's character but the thing was...issue in the story was these tricks/lies Bobby played that backfired and then film ends with them. :((. Didn't make sense to me.

Shucks.. I rewatched the chori chori jab nazre mili song. So beautifully shot. Recollecting the moments that happened before to make it happen the way Birju wanted them to be..uff

Till bobby stole money it was ok

after that it went very bad story

Bobby deol grooming was bad in movie, his hair and make up especially

Neha was OK

Songs were best

Never expected vidhu chopra will make such bad movie
