It almost seems like Maan really loved Geet when they were married

and perhaps she is the one that wanted the divorce and maybe that's the reason

his loving smile on his face when he told her she is now free

so it had to be after that when he saved her and he himself met with the accident

now he is brain dead but then something like that cannot be cured but then

 Geet fired the previous nurse when Maan's forehead was filled with sweat 

which means that he can at some point come back to life 

it must have been the absolute worst news for his parents

so Geet is now in USA alone with Maan
