Episode begins with Bheeshm wanting to remain neutral in selecting. Yuvraj for Hastinapur . But Duryodhan understood no politics ..he wanted the throne . He discusses with Karn n Dushasan and Shakuni poisons his mind against Bheeshm n Yudhishthira.

Shakuni brain washes him to write his own destiny n not wait for luck to smile at him . Shakuni declares he will destroy everything if Yudhisthir is declared Yuvraj .

Dhritarashtra is in dilemma to listen ti Bheeshm to think of Hastinapur n kingdom  n not his son or himself . How kripacharya and Dronacharya hint that Yudhishthir was their choice .

Dhritarashtra remembers How Vidur stated that son could inherit father’s personal property while Kingdoms we’re not personal property.

next day at Raj Sabha Vidur announces Maharaj Dhritarashtra was going to give Hastinapur it’s next Yuvraj .

Four prisoners are brought to the court and Vidur requests that since the two contenders for Yuvraj were competing , they both should get the chance to decide the case .

Duryodhan orders death sentence for them .. but Yudhisthir gives better judgement . All are impressed with his judgement .. not all criminals are equal .. the quantum of punishment depended on their motive n their level of education .. illiterate person got least punishment while Kshatriya got maximum .. while Brahmin got death sentence .Shakuni taunts n passes sarcastic remarks .

Dhritarashtra has no choice but to declare Yudhisthir as Yuvraj 

Bheeshm blows the conch n announces Pandu Putra Yudhishthir as Yuvraj . Duryodhan is furious n disappointed . 

Chedi  Raj Damghosh  is approached by Jarasandh  to help him attack Dwarika . He seeks Shishupal as his pawn to attack Dwarika . Jarasandh reaches vidarbh .. and meets vidarbha king .. 

Magadh Naresh Jarasandh reaches Vidarbha Naresh ....he sends his son Rukmi to receive Jarasandh . Jarasandh sends Eklavya to meet Jarasandh .

Eklavya is full of fury ,as he meets Jarasandh ...he was immortalised by his gurudakshina ... he feels if he had not chopped off his thumb he would be the best Dhanurdhar in this world . He is not against Guru Dronacharya being his guru he had the rights to demand Gurudakshina . But he feels jealous Arjun was sitting in that position today that would belong to Eklavya ..he shares his woes with Magadh Naresh Radheya at Vidarbh ..who directs him to Yuvraj Shishupal at Mathura . 

Mathura is bustling with activity in preparation for Raj Kumari Rukmini’s Swayamvar .Rukmi is Rukmini’s brother and he and the entire royal family desires Rukmini put her varmala on Shishupal n marry him. But she shares with Rukmi that she had dreamt of marrying Krishn .

The family is furious and totally against Krishn .. as they doubt who was his real father ..Nand  or Vasudev and he had doubtful lineage .. his nature was that of Ranchor n they did not wish any royal alliance with Krishn or yadavas 

Rukmini writes a letter to Krishn to come n rescue her as she had considered him her pati . Krishn receives her pleas n decides to rescue Rukmini n marry the princess who truly loved him .

Mahabharat Written Updates 10 Apr 2020 7 PM 

Shishupal arrives at Magadh and he is welcomed by Rukmi and his father the maharaj of Magadh .

Rukmini wonders if Krishn had received her letter ....she leaves for Pooja at Mata Rani mandir ...she is informed by Tukmi that Shishupal had reached for her swayamvar . Krishn is seen rushing towards Magadh in his chariot .

Rukmini performs Pooja at Matarani temple and prays for Krishn to be granted as her husband. After Pooja is over she waits for Krishn n is very happy to see Krishn arrive in his chariot .. she feels shy as she walks up to him ..he seeks her hand n she gives in shyly .. he leads to her chariot and declares he was taking her it’s her permission ..not kidnappinG her ... he informs about his arrival by blowing Panchajanya Shankh .

Rukmi n Shishupal were playing chusar .. they get alarmed on hearing Krishn’s Shankh .Messengers informs that Krishn had arrived n was kidnapping Rukmini ..they get furious at the audacity .of that “Gwalior” .Shishupal wants to attack with his army .,but Rukmi states Rukmini wasn't yet married to him ..so Rukmi proceeds to rescue his sister .Krishn uses Sudarshan chakra to disarm him n ties him up . Rukmi asks him not to insult him but kill him. Krishn says he had not sinned . It was his duty to fight for his sister now he did that . And Krishn was doing his duty by giving him his life .

At Hastinapur Shakuni and Duryodhan and Dhritarashtra’s minds were working over time to over throw Dhritarashtra. The responsibility of the Rajkosh as handed to Duryodhan and he misused the funds to buy his own supporters . Gradually Duryodhan depleted all funds in buying support n loyalty of important persons of the kingdom . Duryodhan shares with Shakuni mama that almost the entire treasury was depleted but Yudhishthir’s poluparity was only increasing .

Shakuni shares his next plan . He advises Duryodhan to send Yudhisthir for the Yogavrat Samaroh this year ..he should go with his brothers n mother Kunti .shakuni has build a rest house for then with Lac . When all were asleep the place would be burnt down n the Pandavas would meet their end . Duryodhan loves mamaji’s idea.. Shakuni and Duryodhan persuade Dhritarashtra to order Yudhishthira to to attend Yogavrat Samaroh .

Bheeshm n Vidur discuss Yudhishthira’s coronation will make the kingdom very happy . But Dhritarashtra was unwilling to give up the throne . Also he still wanted to see Coronation of his own son Duryodhan. Vidur also regrets handing kingdom’s treasury to Duryodhan as he was swindling off the treasures .
