Krishn n Balram are given fond farewell by the villagers of Nand gaon ..Nand Yashoda n Radha .

They reach Mathura n are ridiculed .. they display their strengths n surprise every one who mocks them .

Finally Kans gets the news of the arrival of his nephew Krishn ..he orders Malva yudh ..

He orders it will be fine unto death . All laugh that the two little lad will soon meet their end

As the wrestling match begins Krishn n Balram display their unmatched strength .

After Krishn Balram fight off their challengers n emerge victorious the crowds cheer n sing praises of the two lads

This enrages Kans n he confronts Krishn ..but Krishnuses his divine powers n dodge him ..all laugh at Kans so does Krishn .

Finally Krishn kills Kans by stepping on his chest snuffs life out of him ....moments before his death he sees Divine form of Narayan n Kans attains passage to heavens .

Krishn kills Kans and releases Grand father Maharaj Agrasen from prison n proclaims him to resume the reigns of Mathura .. he reluctantly agrees as Kanha who had stayed the king was young ..

Devaki n Vasudev are released from prison . They share moments of family bonding n happiness ..while entire kingdom celebrates the return of Agrasen and slaying of Kans

Nandgaon is plunged into sadness when Kanha does not return Yashoda is grief stricken .Nand explains n consoles her .

Story shifts to Pandavas

Madrayi n Kunti along with Pandu are holidaying in the Muni ashram ..

pandu gets attracted to Madreyi and while trying to consummate with her he dies of heart attack .

The family is plunged into sorrow .. Madreyi then joins her husband on funeral pyre ..while Kunti is left to care for the five sons .

Kunti and her five sons ..Yudhisthir Bhim, Arjun, Nakul Sahadev are brought back to Hastinapur by Bhishm . Dhritarashtra and Gandhari share the grief but are alarmed by their son’s hatred towards Pandavas .

Satyavati, Ambika and ambalika are seen grieving .Satyavati says she has done injustice to Bhishm n was now paying the price by the loss of her own sons .

One question: in the original epic, did the question of Vasudev taking Kunti and her sons to Mathura even arise, as they showed here?

In this serial, they showed Vasudev and Devaki coincidentally happening to come upon Pandu's ashram just after he died, and Vasudev wanted to take them all back to Mathura, but some rishis gave them the usual bhashans about how they all belonged back at Hastinapur

But in reality, did Kunti ever really have that option of going to Mathura?

^^I haven't read anything like this. SB ka I can't remember but MB mein there's no mention of this. Krishna did send in Akroora to check on the Pandavas but that was after the Rangabhoomi thing I guess.

If VasuDevaki are free to visit, it means Kamsa is dead. If Kamsa is dead then Krishna is Keval Shah, and Arjun is this chutku? 😆 I don't think that even adds up in the timeline.

When Pandu died, Krishna was still in Vraja, and Mathura was too much in a turmoil for Kunti to even consider returning. 🤔
