Angrezi Medium collected 3.75-4 crore nett on its first day as it gained a little lost ground in the evening. The film lost around 50-60 lakhs nett in Delhi city as it was shut. The film was lucky that Gurgaon and Noida was open otherwise the losses would have been even more. The fair value number for the opening day is around 4.50 crore nett which would have been a fair opening.

Its very difficult to say what will happen to this film as its impossible to tell where cinemas will close up shop over the next few days. The film has been unlucky in that scenario but there is an issue of a bad trailer which would have made this film struggle even if the everything was good. The film has managed to get the 9th highest opening of  the year. The top opening days of 2020 are as follows.
