Can we all breathe and relax? Can we cut Rudra some slack for now? Let's not try reading too much into what he says. I get it, he is turning into this big mystery box, which is surely difficult to read. But that does not mean that we read every normal reaction as something else.
Anyway, this entire show is swarming with creepsters out to get Maya on her knees, we don't need another creepster, because otherwise, it will damage Maya beyond repair, which surely isn't happening. We want to see her revenge happen and for that, she needs to heal first - with Rudra and Mrityunjay's help. Yes, Mrityunjay's help.
Sometimes love is not enough for you to heal, reverse therapy also helps. Mrityunjay in his own overconfidence does not realize that the agony Maya has internalized for so long needs to exit her system, and when we vomit out something bad in our system, it hurts us again but when it's out, that's it. Nothing else remains and then the recovery sets in. Mrityunjay's torture is bringing out Maya's internal fears and once he has done everything, that is when Maya will emerge and then Rudra's love will only heal her and no longer be her crutch. We know we want that to happen fast, but we have to wait.
Rudra isn't the villain and he is not going to betray Maya, but surely he knows things which probably we aren't aware of. And that does not need to be bad or murky. He is at the opposite end of the spectrum here. He is not supposed to be Mrityunjay, so let's take it easy. And as far as Ananya is concerned, she has always been his friend, but not the kind which was as co-dependent as Saanjh and Arjun, so it definitely won't be happening. So let's just enjoy the show, without doing too much matha pachi, because clearly CVs don't as much as we do.
