There's a possibility that baa, rather than being negative, could actually be a positive character who knows everything her family did. All the family elders were shown trying to hide their plans away from baa and dev's father when they went to kill the family before the leap. So possible these devil parekh's think baa still has no clue of what they did in past, but maybe she does and is instead protecting brinda possibly.

There are innumerable negative characters anyway , I hope Baa doesn't get added to the list.
I don't agree with Baa being the vamp here.Why would Baa take such an extreme step? Use the Nagmani to get back her Youth perhaps.🤣🤣
Baa is partially immobile & needs support to walk properly.Nope whoever that vamp lady is part of the Vaishali Gang but the leader that is Vaishali is unaware of that mole in her group.It could be Ketki too.
Whoever that lady was executed this swap purposely with the help of that Pandit for 2 objectives-
1-Perhaps to keep the Parikhs safe from.Manyata's revenge with the result today that so far neither Manyata nor Nayan had not done any major damage to the Parikh family with the exception of a Comatose Manas.
2-To get the Nagmani with the help of Brinda.Pandit and that vamp knew that once Brinda touches the 25th milestone her Naagin powers would completely awaken and that Lady then would get the Nagmani for herself possibly which is located within that old Laal Tekdi Mandir.
That's why Vaishali is not even aware of this mole bcoz the mole wants the Nagmani for herself & herself only.Also Brinda's foster father might be a learned Pandit but I don't think he's a good person at heart.He has no time either for Brinda or his wife Swara.That's why Brinda ended up with that no-good Rajat guy as her fiance.
Brinda's father is an accomplice of that mole & perhaps agreed to.do the vamp's bidding in return for sharing the spoils of Nagmani.That Vamp.would then sell the Nagmani for 300-400 Crore or use its power for other nefarious purposes.
With Nayan and the Tharki Parekhs busy targeting Brinda & Manyata still searching for Brinda how or when will the revenge start nobody knows?
Manyata can do both the things simultaneously-Target her Tormentors & search for Brinda.
Its Nayan whose character needs a clear direction now.Targeting Brinda on flimsy grounds has only ruined her own screen presence.
When the search was going on for shortlisting the cast of N4 it was specified that Nayan would be the vamp of this series.The promos depicted her as the Naagin yet she's suddenly a normal human being today.And right from the start with Brinda's revelation she turned negative.
Vish & Shesha were not displayed as vamps right from the start though their character traits screamed VAMP all the way.Let Nayan remain in the grey territory even though she might not be the Naagin now.Brinda has already got too much on her plate now.Brinda's list looks full of enemies without even being aware of the same.
Her only allies Dev and Manyata cannot protect her every time.
in naagin series the main villain is introduced much later.so it's possible that baa or akash can be the biggest negative character.looking at the previous naagin seasons its also possible that dev is an adopted son n his mother's care is bcz of an ultimate motive
There were some comments by the other viewers on this forum & some videos regarding Keshav as the main villain.All of these POV's has led to a theory in my mind regarding the N4 plot Mind you all these are mere speculations-
1-Keshav was the son of a wealthy heir but either due to his bad ways or greed he was disinherited from.his wealth.That explains as to why his family was executed as per his plan.
2-Keshav somehow either through his unnamed Lady Accomplice or that Pandit/other sources came to know regarding the mystery of the old Laal Tekdi Mandir.He deduced that since it was connected to.Lord Shiva Naagmani must be in that location
3-He learns that there are a bunch of Naag/Naagins protecting the Naagmani therefore he makes a cunning but dangerous plan of seducing/trapping the Snakes clan daughter Manyata.
4-His plan is successful & Manyata falls heels over head in love with this man unaware of his sinister designs like Vik did with Ruhi/Bela then.But this was only part of the plan.
5-His plan had a longer timeline & involved intricate steps.He decided to employ his bunch of servants the Parikhs to trap his family & finish them off with the promise of untold riches and the Naagmani.In turn he promised to take care of the Parikhs for life
6-Keshav knew that since Manyata was a Naagin she would not part/disclose with the secret of Naagmani.so easily.So he planned to sire her with an offspring-Brinda so that when she turns 25 he's able to use his own blood to get the Naagmani.
7-Keshav has a partner in crime-A vamp.among the Paikhs.So either he or that Pandit purposely swapped the babies so that Brinda's childhood is taken care of by the Pandit family while Manyata would take good care of Nayan thinking of her as the Naagin for revenge.
8-The guy faked his own death but killed his family in the process so that his family does not oppose him on his mission for the Naagmani.
9-When Keshav executed this swap he wanted a backup bcoz he knew that after 25 years the curse of that Akshalesha Nakshatra would get lifted with Manyata & Brinda regaining their powers and if the Parikhs get killed in revenge then he cannot get the Naagmani without the help of the evil Parikh gang.That explains as to why both Manyata and Nayan had faced repeated failures in killing Dev bcoz he wanted Brinda as the protector for Dev bcoz had Brinda really been with Manyata then she perhaps could have killed Dev instead of protecting him.
10-Keshav faked his own death with 2 purpose-
1-To get the Naagmani
2-Even if the Parikhs are finished one by one as a collateral damage he had Nayan as the Plan B.Yup Nayan.It might be possible that Nayan has a relationship with an unknown clan of strong Saperas .That might explain as to why Nayan could play the Bean so effectively that she's able to hypnotize any Powerful.Naag/Naagin like her sibling Brinda.
So this Zehreela Khel or Evil Game was all pre-planned by Keshav then.Either he could use his Sentimental.trick to entice Brinda/Manyata to give him.the Nagmani & in case they refuse use Nayan as the backup if Nayan remains as a Human for the rest of the series.
This theory establishes Keshav as the Ultimate Mastetmind if he's revealed to be the one behind all this hullaballo.
Vish also might/might not be his another crime partner unless she's back to claim the Naagmani since that 50 year old Protection Lifecycle is over now.
All of the above mentioned POV's are mere assumptions and might or might not be the part of the N4 plot.
Whether it is planned the way you described or not, I suggest them to go with the plot you described.. I mean this will be a complete shock for TRP aunties and Keshav being the mastermind will bring a bigger twist..They should make Nayan Naagin though, I think She is connected with Laal Tekdi Mandir and those statues,and coming to the plot somewhere I think this is the actual plot of poisonous game of Fate..
