Taapsee Pannu might just win the best actress award this year

I know the year is not over yet...but I feel Taapsee Pannu might just end up winning best actress for Badla, due to lack of competition. Her only real competitor is Vidya Balan for Mission Mangal, and it will be a close call between them. Either of these two have a strong chance to win.

Priyanka Chopra might also be in the running for The Sky is Pink.

So...who do you think will win?

She didn't overact in Badla, the movie I feel she will win for. In fact, she got rave reviews for it. I agree though that Vidya was wonderful in Mission Mangal.

I'm a little late to the party, I had only seen 2 Taapsee films previously but in the last few weeks I've seen Badla / Game Over / Manmarziyaan. She's blown me away. Such a natural performer. Loved her in Badla, a strong contender for sure. 

But Alia Bhatt was super strong in Gully Boy and is a likely frontrunner. Vidya also got a lot of praise. Kangana maybe for Manikarnika. And yes Priyanka looks promising in TSIP.
