It’s been two months since that party , many things changed between them.. more from her side.. her opinion is now totally changed about him..
He was angry with her for the unknown reason, first she thought he will come to terms himself but then his ignorance and indifference start affecting her badly..
She tried to reason with him many times, but he always skip this topic from their whole conversation..
And his “ no touch rule” .. for first some days after the party , he always warned her whenever she was near him.. then she herself remain conscious about the situation..
She felt weird, she never want to touch him with ill intentions but…
Then , Mr. Anurag Basu created rift in their life and both husband and wife get busy in that.. and her husband extended their stay in Basu Bari..
But when another deal was cracked by Bajaj Industries, he denied to throw a party this time.. but his Vice –President did.. and they attend..
She saw all other couples there, all were standing side by side smiling and talking with each other.. some were having arms around their wives shoulder.. some were holding hands..
And they were standing in opposite corners.. if she were the old Prerna , she did not mind or notice, but his ignorance gave rise a woman in her, who is his wife and who want same treatment what others were getting..
But, he even denied to be in the same frame with her for any photograph…
There her mind strike about his avoidance , she remember again and again all the incidents.. and always stuck on one,when she put his hand off from her..
She connects all the dots and reached there.. so ,that was the reason.. and from that very day she has tried all her methods, for asking forgiveness bit he did not let her in his personal space…
Today , Nobody was at home she is all alone.. as Basus are out for a wedding and Masi and Tanvi went out in some party..
She make kuki early to her bed, and start waiting for him..
Today he was so exhausted due to back to back meetings.. as he enter the house he called for servants but none come…
So , he slowly went upstairs towards their room cursing them under his breath …
As he open the door of the room… he was surprised to find his room fully decorated with flowers and candels..
And someone was standing there in red saree…
“ sorry, wo mai soch nahi raha tha, mujhe lga ye mera room hai..” and turned to leave ..
“ ye humara hi room hai , Mr. Bajaj” her voice stops him…
He turn around to look at her, she was looking divine in Red Saree with minimal makeup open and straight hairs and her smile…
And she was standing in front of him with a candle in her hand… which she put on near by table.. he stood rooted on his spot..
But soon come to his senses..
“ ye sab kya hai Mrs. Bajaj, please ab aap ye sab hataiye,mai wese hi bhut thaka hua hu..” he said..
But she nodded in no, and take his jacket from his hand and threw it on the chair…
“ Mrs. Bajaj…” he said…
But she pulled him in and close the door …
“ ye aap kya karne ka soch rahi hai, Mrs. Bajaj..” he asked scared
He look around the room once again..
“ aap thik to hai na, koii galat medicine to nahi le li na aap ne..” he asked again..
“ Mai bilkul thik hu, aura b wo thik karne ki kosis kar rahihu jo galt hua tha..” she replied..
At this his demeanor changes and he understood her actions…
“ mai phele hi clear kar chuka hu , aap ko ye sab karne ki koii jaroorat nahi hai…” he said and try to left the room..
But she held his arm …
And then he heard some music in his room..

And he burst out into laughing..
And she frowned on his behavior, and try to get up from him…but this time he held her tight…
“ Really, Mrs. Bajaj.. mai kabhi imagine bhi nahi kar sakta tha, ki aap ye sab karengi mujhe manane ke liye..” he said smiling..
“ Aap ne koii option chhoda hi kha.. baat hi nahi karte the,kab se avoid kar rhe the..” as she speaks tears came out of her eyes..
He become serious , now and make her sit on couch and wiped her tears…
“ Aap ne to bola tha, ki humara relationship girlfriend boyfriend wala nahi hai.., fr aapne kyu manaya mujhe..” he asked to lighten her mood..
“ kyuki nahi hai aap mere boyfried, aap Pati hai mere… aur agar pati gussa ho jye to unhe manana to mandatory hota hai…” she looked into his eyes….”I can bear anything Mr. Bajaj ,bas apka ignorance.. wo nahi kar sakti..”
“ to kar diya na aapne mujhe maaf..” she asked..
And he nodded…
She smiled “ to chaliye, mai apke liye dinner lga deti hu..”she said while standing..
“lekin , mujhe to lagta hai mai ab 2-3 dino tak nahi chal pyunga, aap bhut bhari ho gyi hai , Mrs. Bajaj” he said while looking at his legs..
“ oo!.. mai bhari nahi hui hu, ye pregnancy ki wajha se bas thoda weight gain kar liya hai mne..” she told him angrily and left the room..
And left him chuckling on her reaction….
