SPM ~My Musings 9.8.19~ Basking in false impressions..
With Mainjaan out of her life and Saltanat nearly about to kick the bucket. Kainat swells with confidence that nothing can go wrong in her life, as she herself has become the mistress of her own destiny. Even if it meant usurping Saltanat’s identity and her fate. But can Kainat claim control over everything? What about control over the sentiments of people she relates and interacts with ?How ,when and what certain people can think, deduce and conclude can she control that? The episode, to me is about where Kainat herself needs to cover her own back. little does she know when things just may go wrong for her..
But we see she is so engrossed in her sweet fantasies that although she thinks her misdeeds are virtually impossible to be exposed, her time may be gradually approaching when she just may end up in the docks.
Zainab’s maternal wailing is sincere and moving as she weeps for her fading child Kainat in the intensive care. Her hysterical callings to her only possession Kainat are for real. One feels, even this mother is duped by the doings of the evil one. Yet it’s only Zainab who notices certain clues that Kainat , leaves behind on Saltanat .The amulet that Zainab tied on Saltanat’s wrist just before she got married ,was something Kainat was unaware off, and as such the holy amulet, acts as an alarm bell for who this girl ?Zainab really cries for is? This sacred amulet I see as the beginning of Kainat’s downfall.. it was something she had no control over.
The intense scene between Zaroon and the passed off Kainat ,too is an unpleasant wake up call for Kainat.. Zaroon confesses, his wrongdoing and ill feelings towards her yet again, and emotionally begs the presumed Kainat not to leave them.Kainat posing as Saltanat, hated the sight, the sincerity of sentiments that Zaroon’s heart pours out to this Kainat. Kainat knew that Zaroon’s words were meant for Saltanat! the irony was that his heart knew that his tears and pleadings were meant for his true love Saltanat.. it's almost as if he knew she was Saltanat.
Kainat ,fails here, even though she exchanges her identity with Saltanat, she couldn’t change, or alter the depth of love that Zaroon inherently felt for his Saltanat. Kainat posing as Saltanat, coaxes him to come home to rest, but he snubs her , tells to go,he’ll stay with Kainat.. the imposter Saltanat has to leave without her sister's man..
Sufiyana love,which Kainat the imposter fails to take control of is felt like a gentle breeze.. a sensation, that bonds Zaroon, with this seemingly dying Kainat.. Sufiyana love that is not enclosed in a body but connects one soul meant to be with the other.. Kainat with all her plotting, planning and conspiracies.. fails to reach the connectivity between the two souls of Zaroon and Saltanat.. even the comatose cannot separate their spirits from communicating..
Kainat the fraudster, reckons she covered her tracks well.. she paints Saltanat’s nails with blue nail varnish, which later on confirms to Zainabthat the girl in intensive care is Saltanat! Delusionary Kainat , finishes all clues which might lead to the fact that the girl in intensive care isnot Kainat but Saltanat..hence she singes Saltanat’s finger tips.Burns off her fingerprints identification marks..
Kainat’s impure motives become clear to the hiding Zainab, that all this poser Saltanat wants is to gain Zaroon physically. The scene is a contrast between the Sufiyana love that Zaroon and Saltanat shared between themselves and the carnal, lust based relationship Kainat always aspired to have with Zaroon..
When this supposed Saltanat giggles, spins ,swirlsand ecstatically exclaims, Zaroon andher child will be called “Zainaat”.. Zainab much to her horror realizes whothis Saltanat could really be?? Will Zainab be strong and brave enough to reveal the truth?
Well looks like Zainab’s husband and Kainat’s father comes snooping around, hammering his way into his rights to the legacy.. this hooded Jibran Ayub might be his son? Just speculating.. hopefully Zaroon will confront them both.. another conjecture.
Really anotherepisode covering Kainat’s new found Saltanat.. just maybe the beginning of her end… 10.8.19 hamlet53
