Actor Barun Sobti and his wife Pashmeen Manchanda, who tied the knot in 2010, became parents to a baby girl on June 28. The actor, who has always maintained silence on matters concerning his personal life, told BT that the feeling of becoming a father for the first time is indescribable. “We have named our daughter Sifat, which means praise. I can’t describe my happiness in words. Like all parents, we just wanted our baby to be healthy. Pashmeen and I had secretly hoped for a girl,” he said.

So, when we asked if he is prepared for sleepless nights and nappy-changing turns, he replied, “Yes, my wife and I have planned everything, we are pretty sorted that way.”
