at Golden Globes
The month long wedding ceremony across cities in India and the US was a last minute entry and was competing against likes of Ranveer-Deepika for the award.
Sources at Faking News say Golden Globe judges had to go through 500 hours of wedding footage from Nick Priyanka ceremony that amounted to 10 Tb of data, before announcing their choice for the award.
Apparently, it was a close call and Nick-Priyanka manged to beat Ranveer-Deepika with a margin of 2 receptions.
Priyanka, who is currently still busy with her wedding reception, said that she and Nick were ecstatic and were honored to receive the Golden Globe. "I'd like to thank our friends and families who followed us to various wedding locations and are still doing. There were many challenges like when Supreme Court asked us to restrict our wedding celebrations to just 3 receptions in India. But all that is behind us, she said while addressing the guests at the Golden Globes via video conferencing.
The couple are now hoping that they'd make it to the Oscars too, which is just a month away.
