Bepannah My thoughts~ ep 186 30. 11.18 Bepannah.. Bepannah! pyar hai tumse.
At their first meeting, she had hissed back at this angry bull! whether he likes it or not. he'd better face it destiny has hurled them together into a controversial encounter! Destiny's hand "line has always struck a chord with both. Be it a jarring cacophony or be it a soothing love note. Today in the finale episode Adi uses the same code word "destiny has brought them together. This time too the same magic prevails between them and slowly wrinkled furrowed brows and broken hearts are reunited, cleansed by the ablution of their tears!
Zoya dreads going to the mortuary! Once again to identity her husbands body. Surely destiny cannot be so harsh with her, this second time too. Yash's dead body flashes before her eyes.. she thought she loved him..but with Adi he is her true love. Destiny forced them together! and so it cannot be him dear god! The body turns out to be Rajveer! Not Adi! In fact Adi helps Naani to identify Rajveer's body! one can say Adi acts as Harsh Hooda's honourable son who promised to at least try to be amicable with Rajveer! Here he pays homage to his father's love child! Forgiveness dispensed by Adi the man with a stormy temper but a golden heart!
Such an event where one's foe suddenly ends up dead! is indeed an overwhelming experience. Zoya can sense the power of virtuous justice. in fact it's a humbling time for Naani too.. she confesses to plotting and setting up Harsh's murder .Admits to losing her evil battle against Zoya's righteous one! Naani confesses she nurtured revenge and hatred.. and even instilled hate in Rajveer too. The moralistic theme of virtue winning against evil becomes evident when Naani seeks forgiveness from both Adi and Zoya for her sins. For even the gods grant forgiveness to those who are pardoned by those who they have aggrieved. She owns up to setting out to destroy the Hoodas.. and now she faces god's wrath with punishment she deserves.
This experience already begins to pave the way for issues of repentance, and the unpredictability of life! Adi catches Zoya's tears of horror and then much relief that Adi was safe! No words are needed. As they can sense the strange ways of life. The woman and her grandson who targeted Adi and Zoya's, barely settled married life now stand separated from her loved one by death... I would imagine Naani too ends up in jail for colluding to killing Harsh and pinning the blame on an innocent Adi!
Arjun presses a door bell! Which will either make or break his life. With regards to Arjun's scene, both him and Noor represent like Adi and Zoya, the second generation of the Hooda's and Siddiqui's. Both set of siblings although move with the times, but simultaneously they also up hold the sound family values cascaded down to them by their elders. Arjun like Zoya after being hit by family sufferings and betrayal learnt to survival by self-reliance. It's admirable that Arjun himself, on his own comes to ask for Noor's hand despite the opposition he knows he will face. But his faith in confessing Noor's love and her importance in his life wins Waseem's heart. He also narrates the importance of how much love Noor has for her father, that she rejected his love for her fathers honour. Waseem agrees and gives his blessing for their marriage! Arjun and Noor honour their elders and in return get blessings and permission for their marriage!
At the mortuary too, Zoya's presence does in some way contain Adi ! but for how long? As one after the other events happen, that are geared to bring them together emotionally! One phone call steals Adi's peace of mind only luckily Zoya is beside him as his support!
Anjana's attempt to kill herself is foiled. Both Zoya and Adi are thrown from one emotionally draining incident to another! Adi begins to recognize the fact that having Zoya beside him is just second nature for him makes pain bearable for him. Now that she is before him things can only get better.. that is once his mothers latest mishap is sorted out!
Outside the high dependency unit, his palm tenderly covers her hand as both peep through the glass porthole door to Anjana's hospital room. That last parting scene between them looms up like a wall between them again. awkwardly, Zoya pulls her palm away!. Adi senses the distance and clearly wants her to stay by him as his need in times like this. With a heavy heart, Zoya walks away dew eyed ,and leaves behind a tearful Adi too. Remorse squeezes his heart.. saying sorry is not difficult.. if only she just tarries a while and hears him out!
If their hearts are willing, yet bitter memories continue to keep them apart. Then certain well-wishers, guardian angels get actively involved and veer them towards each other to clear the cobwebs of their misunderstandings so things can become crystal clear between them. Mili briefs Zoya about how Adi has been the past year.. a living corpse.. she reminds Zoya only blessed people find love and are privileged even more! to see its fulfilment in marriage. She suggests not every one gets such opportunities that they have... and it will be a shame if they let the chance go, chance to patch up and work things out between themselves!
Not all is bad news, Adi's Ma' once more is brought back to stability after treatment. An exhausted Adi is advised to go home and catch up with some rest. But another well-wisher has something else planned for the ailing Adi and Zoya. These two equally stubborn refuse to be healed. So treatment is forced down their throats!
The pharmacy set up! Both Adi and Zoya are sent to the pharmacy to collect drugs for Anjana. Once both are in.. someone locks them in for tailored privacy. Adi is surprised to see Zoya! both realize they have been set up.. well Adi was seeking for the right moment to pour both his heart and eyes out! Only Zoya finds out the door is locked from the outside! She has no other option but to hear him out. Adi confronts a Zoya plastered to the door. The door to her heart may be locked. But he will surely try to open it by using the key of truth. The truth is a heartfelt confession! That he has realized that she was right all along in walking out on him. he had broken vows he took before her, that he would stand by her in both good and bad times.. she was and is correct in calling him far from perfect! That he isn't.. but is a foolish man who failed to trust her words! Adi repeats sorry many times! Begs for her forgiveness! Because he was in error! He reveals to Zoya that Naani had earlier confessed to him, that nothing happened between Zoya and Rajveer.. It was a ploy to seek revenge from Adi by tarnishing Zoya.. that Zoya is chaste as she ever was! Zoya glares at him and scoffs that he got his proof! She makes him realize that he chose to dismiss the same issue when she assured him. Zoya is not sure if he realizes fully that she was ready to put her honour at stake! just to get her hands on the evidence to set him free! His tearful remorse , moves her heart, though. Adi tells her he simply cannot live without her! as it is they met so late and before it gets to late Can she forgive him?as destiny itself even after separating them! has reunited them once again! Will they defy their destines? Both weep as both, press their foreheads together! ready to face life afresh . Zoya feels his hand, when he cups her face lovingly with his palm. The storm between them seems to pass! Kunal in panic opens the door to the pharmacy! Since both Adi and realize that they themselves are the elixir, for their souls to thrive!
The final fresh storm rumbles in Adi and Zoya's life! Anjana regains her memory and yet once more she attempts to walk the plank. It's all clear to her that the man she loved, Harsh has gone forever! Her only option is to join him! A devastated Adi tries to keep her engaged so she is distracted from jumping off the hospital ledge.. but Anjana is all to ready to depart! But before she does! She confesses to the very murder! That kick started the story of Bepannah the double murder of Pooja Yash and their unborn child! She tries to convince Adi , that she did it because Pooja cheated him! she confesses that she pushed Sakshi to her death as she found out about her crime! Zoya and Adi beg her to come down! she does.. is arrested and she complies. But not without asking Zoya for forgiveness ! and giving her blessings to Adi and Zoya..
So crime, punishment and retribution all fall into place. Anjana will live and pay for what she did. As for Adi! its tragic.. as he will need looking after. This time too, like always Zoya is beside him. Physically he sinks down to his knees as his mother is escorted to the police van. The touch of Zoya's hand on his shoulder reminds him yet again, that she too alongside him carries his burden of woes. That he will never walk alone again! On their knees on the long road Zoya embraces her true love Adi securely .. never to be parted from each other again. Mili and Kunal walk away smiling ..a job well done!
The Hoodas act as a buttress for the Siddiqui's. They literally live off each others happiness. Waseem loses two daughters and gains two handsome, well grounded, and honest son in laws! Two brothers remain as brothers! However the two sisters have a slight tweaking of roles! But there is no doubt now that of what's left of the Hooda family, now belongs to the Siddique's! This calls for a reformed ,revised family photograph! With many blessings and good times to come! for Aditya and Zoya Hooda and Arjun and Noor Hooda! and they will live happily ever after!
