The questions that spring to my mind are why is Adi sore with Zoya? well many answers too, swarm my mind. Going back in time she began as a foe, then turned into a friend. Then from being a simple friend Zoya became a rather close and dear mate. This dear friend bond further progressed to being the first true love of his life. Once he recognised what she meant to him, nothing except her consent could make him stop from signing and sealing his relationship into the permanence of marriage with his friend, true love, wife Zoya. So I wonder, where is Adi's love for Zoya now? surely it cannot be on a back foot? It hasn't I console myself .The love is very much there. Only this time is stands flavoured with the right to express his true feelings towards his wife. As love is not all honey and sugar all the time! the lover can turn bitter and sour too! The variance adds spice to the relationship! Adi's sulking and brooding shows that his sentiments needn't be blanketed. If he gets miffed by her actions. He has every right to show her his real feelings. Between them of course, lies the deep understanding of knowing each other well enough, to sense when things are looking morose with either of them. But then again, they have only just begun as a married couple. Early days can pose a challenge. Both live in a joint family unit. Whereas having one's seniors about them is a good thing, in terms of good advice and guidance. Juniors support too is crucial to fall back on peer bonding and perception. However at other times, rough patches can occur when friction is caused between relationships owing to misconstrued and misunderstood events or intentions.
Mystery woman worships. Alongside reaffirms the necessity of honouring vows in a marriage, takes brief from her diety. She does veneration of a framed photo of a young woman and an adolescent son. Satisfied at her victory of turning all Hooda s against Zoya. Mystery woman , pursues her revenge against the Hooda's. Announces she will target the first born son of Hooda family, in return for breaking vows! Mystery woman pays off a girl to carry out what she has ordered to do at the specified venue... to a specific marked Hooda male!
Zoya accusing his mother is bad enough! especially as Adi told her his mother wasn't capable of poisiong her family. Adi pines over the fact that firstly as a friend Zoya didn't think him worthy to share what went through her mind. He feels she could have passed her anxieties by him, but she didn't. Which probably, brings him to think, could it be that Zoya doesn't trust him enough ? not only this, I feel, that Adi is actually disgruntled by the fact ,that Zoya made a fool out of herself, not to mention foes within the family ! This irks him immensely. She is his wife and seeing her expose herself in a pathetic situation where the family turns against her , does matter to Adi.He wants Zoya to be valued not devalued in her new home.
Both of them are forever on each other's mind! She is weighed down by her misdeed and the most important pardon she seeks. Her beloveds! Back in the haven of her room, Zoya hopes to win his pardon with lovable actions. Only Adi is unimpressed and plays hard to get! She appeals to his knowing her well enough! she wouldn't hurt any one intentionally! Fair enough! but did she trust him enough to warn him?? Adi takes in her remorse but refers to the wedding vows, not wall mounted for decor! But more so for at all times fulfilling them! Adi lets her know he is upset with her.. but no he'll always be around her always.. all she has to do him call upon her! sadly he feels in accusing his mother, Zoya didn't call him! instead Zoya did her own thing! Adi leaves! Mind you both feel miserable. The serenity of love seems to be farther than they both desire.
Yes Adi walks away but he still holds his ground before his mother in defending his wife Zoya. Adi fulfils his vow. In fact goes far to show his support for his wife to his family members. Plus even though he maintains his frigidity with Zoya as his reprimand. He still is the thoughtful husband who orders a ceremonial outfit for Zoya to don for the Dandiya night! As a son he gives his mother due respect by inviting her for the festive night out. Only Anjana opts to stay back and rest. I loved how Adi owns up to ordering Zoya a new outfit for the function. He doesn't worry his mother may be put off!,especially after what happened. He follows his heart. Lets not his angst against Zoya get out of hand. I loved how he takes the surprise parcel for Zoya from Arjun. As its his responsibility as a husband to gift it to his wife! Zoya gets the message Adi is truly vexed with her, but little does she know that behind her back! he goes around setting right things that she temporarily imbalances! See Adi is sensible, he will not carry grievances too long! Zoya will see! He is one to give surprises too! Never a dull moment!
Adi returns to his room gives Zoya the parcel.. her faith in him revives seeing the a parcel, that he loves her. She begs for forgiveness again. But Adi is crisp, curt and to the point with her.. be ready for 7.00pm . Indifferently he leaves her too it! The scene where they both stand on the inside and outside of their bedroom door. Their silent palms press against the glass pane of altercation. Silently they watch the milky outline of each others palms against the opaque pane. The sense of a warm touch amiss, due to brief lack of transparency between them!
Well typical family scene! Members getting ready for a special function! Arjun hunts his shoes! Zoya, still not ready! typical wifey behaviour! Whereas Adi is ready spot on! As his right he goes to check on his wife. His keenness is still distant! Mumbles an apology for entering! Its amusing when Zoya reminds him, he needn't, its his room too!
He plays indifferent, but then in the past he has always assisted her with his helping hand in the parts she found hard to reach and see! The looped thread of her blouse that holds the clue to a perfect fit! Is a struggle for her fiddly fingers! Adi has to oblige her as a chivalrous man! he pulls her roughly towards his heart. his stubbled chin over her head... she dared to look up into his narrowed cold aloof eyes.. if looks ,mood, and nearness could smite those in love! this was it! Detached Adi pulls the strings of her blouse to fit! For a moment the strings of their love tightens them in a knot of marriage. Only Adi moves back! Soon after musing, if only Zoya knew that loops of the vows are significant in preventing the loosening of the two strings of marriage between two people. Thus from time to time the two strings need to be pulled together to provide the perfect sync between two people !
The icy scenario continues between Zoya Adi.. only Zoya has enough of his off key manner. She takes the back seat in their relationship by sitting in the rear of the car! But how can one stop the callings of one's heart! The rear mirror, becomes crucial for Adi's approving eyes to relay silently to Zoya, how stunning she looks in her outfit! Zoya catches his frequent stolen glances and responds with coy ,demure, thank you smiles! For which Adi's moody blues disperse hopelessly.. hell!! he cannot be forever vexed by his Zoya.. yet he has to keep up his grouchy ,gruffy front with her to give her the surprise he had planned for her! meeting her Abbu!
Meeting her mother was a big surprise followed by tears of joy! Followed by unfailing unending love for Adi whose handiwork this was all! he kept it so quiet didn't give a clue! While all along Zoya thought he held grievances against her! well Zoya realizes once again she made no mistake in choosing Adi. Her husband has a heart of gold. Hears her out, and for her happiness, is ready to take on the whole world!
However some mistakes are not easily forgiven.. Wasim maintains he has only one daughter Noor. His dismissal of Zoya is not missed by Zoya and all who care for her. Still for Zoya, it's useful to recall as Arjun had said.. she should persist in seeking forgiveness with a pure heart! One day she will be rewarded! Perhaps today is the day.? Her phone falls right before her fathers feet. She touches them with reverence! Waseem turns with a slight loss of his balances! and to steady himself! his palm ends up on crouching Zoya's head! Zoya looks up him with repentant love.. Wasim stares down into her face and removes his hand. but the inadvertent blessing is carried out even though by default from her father!
With, communal good will, the festivity open to all ! the music, the song and dance ! Love prevails as the two strings of Adi and Zoya's love tighten to make them in the most befitting husband and wife! As Zoya's sways , her back brushes against his chest.. her phone rings! Zoya pretends to choke.. keeps a secret again! and leaves Adi to answer her phone call! Well with Adi without Zoya's support.. he is most probably becomes the easy target for the predator who craves to put the honourable nobility of the first born male of the Hoodas out to the winds! 20.1o.18
The episode captures some endearing moments between Adi and his Zoya.. how they fall out with each other , but still come together ! such is the durability of their love.. have a great Sunday .love hammie
