The mangulsutra, vermillion are sacred symbols of marriage, which speaks of the infinity of Zoya and Aditya's everlasting love. Marriage is in the air. In every, thought ,word and deed that both undertake. The episode celebrates several symbols and concepts. The first ones that come to mind is the framed wedding photograph. It emphasizes the value and preoccupation humans have with capturing their happy moments till eternity. Photos, also tend to connect with memories, of both the past and present. As humans we often add a touch of permanence to milestones of our lives! Marriage photographs, albums are a great favourite keep sake for posterity, to be shared with both, one's present and future family.
Its endearing to see how both Adi and Zoya plan to gift each other with something out of the ordinary. Something significant and of immense value! Both seem aware that wrapped gifts! provoke excitement from the giver to the receiver! Especially if the gift is a surprise.it gives double the happiness! Goes without saying that both use their gifts for each other to celebrate an occasion of much significance to them. Apart from these two, we see In the episode that gifts to another, also marks a show of affection, generosity, especially within the family. Harsh gifts Zoya a red sari to celebrate her presence as not only as his son's wife but for being a daughterhe never had! I think his reward comes in the form of Zoya calling him papa with a broad happy smile!
Zoya's gift to Adi is the memory of their wedding photograph. The fact that the photograph is framed draws more attention to it and adds reverence to the sacred ceremony that made them man and wife! the frame also marks the photograph as picture.. that it is an illusion rather than reality! But for the excited giver Zoya and equally speechless Adi the illusion does become reality as they both come alive! As does the reality of their infinite bond! That he is Aditya Hooda ,and Zoya his wife, Mrs. Zoya Aditya Hooda!
There happiness in the company of each other ,knows no bounds! Seems like both hadn't chuckled, giggled and smiled since ages! Such is the surprise! the joy a symbolic gift can bring! Equally amusing is Adi's confusion as who could have sent them this huge framed wedding photograph? He is honestly thrown! Was it Arjun, Pa, Ishita? Zoya is miffed that her dear, tease of husband! takes ages to guess its his dear wife who gives both the permanent image of their wedding day!
Well the tradition goes if it's a celebration special? then two people both give each other gifts to return each others love and affection in equal measure! Adi too gifts his dear wife with a symbolic collage of their wedding vows. Vows will stand as inscribed reminders for both. Instant guidelines, of the rights and duties, both have over and towards each other, to ensure a blessed and content married life! The vows will be there in their bedroom as an extension of their framed wedding photograph. The framed picture in theory, translate their beautiful representational photographic image as husband and wife. While the vows represent the practice they both haveto go by. To derive true meaning of their wedding ceremony photograph! The vows give deeper layers of meaning to what the ceremony they both went through entails. The just married aura surrounds them both as two giddy lovers! Scenarios like locating the rightful prime spot for their gifts, affords them both reason for playful comic flirting! Zoya power woman! wants to mount the wedding photograph up the wall! But ends up in a fall, that plasters flat Adi on the bed and Zoya atop him! brings back, memories of times they ended up in this embarrassing posture! But now Zoya smiles down at her cheeky husband! Who smiles up at her with a twinkle in his eyes! any minute ready to chant he has the right! And its his duty to catch his wife if she falls! Right above him!
The trip and fall repeats with Adi! only Zoya let's him fall! That gives him chance to whine and whinge of getting a bump on the back of his head! Nurse Zoya gets the first aid kit from his chest of drawers. Underneath tucked away are Adi and Pooja's pictures Adi's memories with his past! Zoya maintains her calm..and gives him a wife's TLC.. but its Adi who feels he needs to broach the subject of still latching on to a fraction of his past in the form of his and Pooja's photos! These were just old memories that are already fading away.. since Zoya came into his life.
It pays to be dead honest and not keep secrets of his past. Well he comes clean with Zoya! yes I sensed she felt jealously insecure a tad bit! But than again she is realistic in practical terms.. the room was previously occupied by Pooja so her faint remnants will be around! If their love is strong and builds, upon the foundation of trust, then she has naught to fear about.. as Pooja was his past and she is Adi's present like Yash was her past but Aditya is her present and forthcoming future too! The framed wedding photograph and Adi's collage of sacred vows will keep them both on the straight and narrow!
The episode contains some lovable husband and wife moments, where both with an admixture of right and duties, share small, intimate moments. Adi is besotted by his stunning wife's almost lethal drop dead beauty! A preened and tempting Zoya smiles coquettishly at her love torn Romeo! sends him packing to shower! It's interesting Adi tries to manipulate her into coming out with him instead of the arranged bride's face revealing ceremony! tells her she needn't adhere to the rituals! But knowing Zoya she rejects the idea of going with him.. as what ever ritual she will do is to keep up his and the family's respect!
Noor coldly delivers Zoya's belongings, memories. Seems she has a appi clean out from her life. Noor is even frigid wth Arjun. Wants no explanations as both have no right over each other to do so. Its easy for Noor to say so, as her Appi in marrying Aditya has rights over him! that both Noor and Arjun lack over each other.Zoya takes a morose Arjun under her wing and supports him by apologises due to her they split. Such a lovely scene they latch onto each other emotionally not as devar and bhabi but his brother and sister!
The episode does not end without a spate of text messages where Zoya is ordered to drink a glass of juice that the servant brings for her! or else this time Harsh Hooda will be put to eternal sleep! The episode is a bounteous offering of Adiya moments, though ends of course on a sinister note, more text messages from an unknown person! Hamlet53 11.10.18
