Bepannah ,My thoughts ep 133~ 136 Never fear, I am right here!
Ep 133 Tuesday 18th Sept: Both Zoya and her father Waseem , are a pair of rebels, they love to deviate from the ordinary and the normal. Thing is Aditya Hooda too loves to live in the red! Believe it or not, despite their affectionate falling out with each other they are very in a strong bond which all can see except Zoya. her stubborn resistance gives way to his Bepannah persistence of chant, believe it or not you love me!
Both Zoya and Waseem also are pros at having blinkers on. Waseem looks through Zoya and imposes Arshad upon his daughter! In return Zoya too acts blind to Adi's calls of you love me Zoya! but deep down its hard to conceal the thief whose memories float in her imagination. Waseem's unusual departure from the norms, is his dance performance at his daughters pre- nuptials! I guess its hard to conceal his happiness that eventually he is on route to imposing his will upon his daughter, after all Abbu knows best! It's a diplomatic move to stroke warm love in his daughters heart.. a mum and dad song and dance duo! Also for Waseem its celebration time , in the confidence, that Adi will be kept in shackles by his parents, after Waseem's phone call warning issued to Harsh Hooda!
Well if Waseem is there! His opponent fighting him for his daughter's love ,in great style! After a sudden black out! Adi turns up in full light.. to join the rather lack lustre ,lifeless song and dance function! While all look in shock! Zoya cannot believe her eyes.. Adi surrounded by pretty belles! Big boss style! dances before Zoya, eat your heart out baby! Here I come playing with the hearts of many beauties! No pretty belle can stay clear of my suave, gyrating, charm! I may be the proverbial bad boy , but am a lover of beauty and romance! Resist me if you can! Zoya suffers from slight pangs of jealousy seeing him throwing his arms around the shoulders of stunning dancing girls. In contrast Arshad and Waseem squirm in their pants! Refusing to accept that Adi's item number, certainly adds to the highlight of the evening!
All is well, till the point when Adi gets carried away by his madness ..asks the belle of the evening for a dance! Zoya is swept away .. but Arshad as usual steals the belle of the ball and twirls her around in the fetters of his arms.. Adi turns his face away to deal with the pain of watching his Zoya.. Zoya waltzes in Arshad s arms ,but imagines her self in Adi's warm embrace! Silently, surreptitiously both Adi and Zoya savour their togetherness.. thank heavens for the wings of imagination! Adi's afflicted expression, repeats.. the lyrics, "hang on to each moment , you get with her , they may be short lived, who knows.. his song and dance ,his presence is secretly welcomed by Zoya.. after all its Aditya her eyes search for in every function related to her fast track marriage to her father's choice Arshad!
Ep 134 Wednesday19th Sept: He is not a stalker! But she'd rather be dead! Things get too hot for Adi to handle! She seems to be swept away by the festivities! Adi needs to have a serious word with her in private, away from the madding crowd! The rear seat of his car is private enough! his intention is well, although his method is mad! Zoya has to listen to his repeated pleas yet again! and he speeds away.. Zoya stretches forward and pulls the hand brake to halt the speeding his vehicle. Zoya wants to negate herself from his insanity! They meet with a near miss accident! She makes her point and in fury they both stand outside the fuming car facing each other! Zoya is livid! As he pleads ,he is no cheap stalker! But one who always pulled her out of hot spots! This was the only way he could remind her of the serious mistake she is about to make! Step into a loveless marriage! She screams the reality in his face! One he could never imagine in his wildest dreams! Would have been better if she had died in the crash! Any thing is better than what she is going through now! Adi receives a huge shove from her. He always looked out for her happiness.. but she tells him clearly she'd rather be dead and gone! Than be lumbered by the sort of suffocating happiness he dishes out to her.. his hands resting on her shoulders, back down! shock of her words numb him.. how he has been under false impressions! His rash action at least brings out the bare naked reality before him! how blind he has been.. he recovers gradually and knows Zoya never lies.. at least this time he believes she tells the truth!
He will depart from her life! To prove that he genuinely aspires to see her happy! his departure vouches for her this is not a bad deal for her.. so this is good bye, but not beyond an oath, an assurance from her.. that no matter what comes, between them, parting, distance.. she must remain happy! Zoya fails to hide her grief, and Adi soothes her pain, assuring her where ever he is.. he will always be not to far from her! his words act as a balm for both of them.. till Roshnaq comes and slaps all of Aditya's advances and accuses him in actual fact of robbing Zoya's happiness! Crest fallen Adi exits down in the dumps! Today he lost face before Zoya's mother too.. Sigh!
Her happiness is primary and secondary to his love! Adi hardens his heart. His family is much concerned about Adi , gradually being eaten away by Zoya's choice, her whole marriage caboodle! Harsh, winner of many law suites, feels helpless Adi reminds him,in the court of love, jurisdiction does not work.. only love can prevail upon two hearts.. love cannot be forced it just happens.. Arjun tries to talk to Zoya.. but Waseem dismisses his efforts as Adi's message delivery boy!
Adi needs space.. till when? He's not sure, but his heart is being squeezed.. he bids , farewell to his parents. they will just have to trust him on this one! at least he has his parent's sympathy.. to his mother he gives her a hug. Anjana lets go off her chicku.. its hard from him to part from two key women of his life on the same day.. his maa, and his Zoya.. Sigh..
Her happiness makes Adi mix haldi with his own hands, for Zoya's purifying ceremony.. he had said to her, think of him and he'll be around her ,even when far! Zoya looks stunning in yellow her haldi outfit! But looking at her self in the mirror.. her eyes and face show no sign of happiness.. he had taken a vow from her to remain happy what ever happens! But a tearful Zoya finds it a stupendous task to act upon Aditya's word , to be happy! its next to impossible!
Ep 135 Thursday 20th Sept: I send you cleansing, prepared by mine hands.. in the hope that I may be part of your purification too. Zoya's haldi comes from Adi's household! where his parents exclude themselves from the ceremony. Aditya himself prepares the symbolic paste, so as to removes any impurities and blemishes of plots and conspiracies that divides Adi and Zoya.
When the controversial becomes accepted! Not just by everyone but by the girl herself! Waseem's household haldi loses its potency against the one sent by Adi! Roshnaq thinks the idea is outrageous, but Zoya argues consider it as an adieu sent by a close friend! Well.. seems like the deities themselves grant Zoya's purification that covers both their friendship and love! Zoya's desperation to be graced by Adi's haldi show in her words, where she cajoles her mother into giving her yes, as a gift to her! why do her eyes stay posted to the door! She hopes for miracles! One does happen.. haldi sent by Adi is used by the women who apply haldi on Zoya's body.. her spirit yearns for his touch, her imagination provides her the balm.. unbelievable! She feels his fingertips glide the haldi paste on her bare arms.. Zoya shudders .Then with eyes heavy with tears she stares at Adi who, tenderly unfolds are soft palms, adds his magical touch there too! Adi smiles wickedly at her, consoling her.. did she think he won't show up? well he tends to keep his word he tells her, he will always be beside her.. such a beautiful scene.. at each touch, Adi jogs her memories, how they first met, a touch for when he stopped her from returning to Mussorie! ,a smooth touch of haldi, for the day where they accepted each others friendship! Next touch.. for the day when she stopped him for going to Paris! Another dash of haldi for the moment,it dawned on him that he loved her! he glides more haldi for the truth that she never told him straight that she never loved him! Zoya nearly chokes.. her tears clouding her vision.. abruptly she opens her eyes and finds her mothers tips sliding haldi paste on her cheeks.. Zoya quivers like a leaf! Adi's haldi not only purifies her, but also provides a medicinal healing to her infirm spirits! That stops her from being happy! So those that destiny has joined, let none put asunder!
It's the lesser light Noor that finally applies Adi's haldi upon her beloved Appi!.. and it's her fingers that come across a ring much dear to Adi.. his mother's ring that often slipped off his finger.. Zoya wants it and nods to be quiet to Noor.. Zoya closes her palm over the ring and crying runs to the wash room, and stares sadly at the haldi she imagined Adi applying on her! only she and her wild imagination are to be blamed! She washes it off sobbingly , but her skin still radiates with the reverie of Aditya's purifying touches! In a flurry she rinses her face and his ring! and when Noor sticks her head in, without looking lest Noor sees her broken spirits! Gives Noor Adi's ring.. she knows what it means to him! even in this dismal hour , she wonders about Adi's condition.. I thought, Adi's ring would grant her another chance to see him.. Sigh! Not so.. it was too risky.
Adi misses his ring! Arjun returns it.. Adi bitterly comments, see Zoya cannot bear even his things any where near him! but despite that.. he too like Zoya is anxious about her welfare! Even distance , farewells! Good byes evaporates before their thoughts about each other! Adi leaves for his destination unknown journey! Like Zoya Adi to has to survive with memories of those times , when they were together Still his feet takes him to the tea stall where they sipped tea.. with his wheelie parked behind him.. Adi felt he was empty and broken.. even the vendor asked the sore question.. is he waiting for someone to join him? Adi gulped and swallows a lump in his throat.. how hard he fights his tears from spilling out of his eyes.. easier said than done.. heavens its hard to walk away from her... sigh! Bepannah pyar ka bepannah dard.. Harshad and Zoya in role.. caused me much anguish after this episode.. why love?if its unfulfilled..
He met her late in life.. and now he seems late in getting to her! With the haldi done a snivvling Zoya gets ready as the bride! For the hour for the nikah approaches! She fails to bear her reflection, her grooming, preening, and the rest of it! No trace of happiness on her face, in her gait.. she needs to pin her dupatta around her shoulders as the finishing touch to her bridal green and gold bridal out fit.. green for prosperity.. and gold for an enriched wedded bliss! The search for a pin leads her to the drawer that contains the letter written by A.. as for Arshad! She gets hold of it and reads it! Word to word.. the letter is Aditya s confession of love! she knows its him, as those words he was brave enough to declare before her father and Arshad! Zoya nearly breaks down.. all this time he tried, suffered humiliation , just to tell her the truth and she stupidly turned him down! called him a liar! And a cheat! Hurt him... ooohh Zoya sobs! She drove him away! and bravely bore all for her happiness! her fingers tremble holding the stark truth! her perception has betrayed her, not Aditya he always tried to tell her , not to marry Arshad!
Ep 136 Friday 21st Sept: The power in Adi's love letter! There is divine intervention in a big way for Adi's pure ,sincere love. his letter to Zoya is read by Zoya and as if by magic, the wind carries it across to the approaching groom Arshad and upon reading it he took finds out that Adi s proof of love for Zoya..are events going to change in any way? Zoya now thinks about the role of destiny.. she read Adi's love plea, but the fact that the wind blows it out of her hand, means that this is the end of her bond with Aditya ? again she misunderstands, as the reason it flew away is to raise Arshad s awareness! Adi's letter does create doubts in Arshad s mind, as he belived only Adi loved her.. now he is not sure if she too loves him? he is plagued by the thoughts ,has she even read Adi's letter?
Zoya lips quiver and she trembles with grief.. as she looks at her reflection! and as promised he would stand by her till the storm has passed.. its Adi who sees the bride first! Covers her head with the bridal mantle! How stunning she looks , he lightly jests as he swears by his god and hers.. that the deities too have not seen such a stunning bride! How he maintains his humour to hide his torture.. his goal is to see her happy.. not snatch her joy! He just she is picture perfect except for the missing smile! May be its hard to smile, as he's not her groomHe is dead honest, he cant bear to see her with some else.. how can he tolerate her getting married to any one other than him.. hence he was leaving.. ! He tells her he promised her next time he does a runner! He will say good bye before he vanishes! This is a fresh panic perhaps that Zoya senses but she's too numb at the speed of events racing in her life! before he leaves, he has to fulfil his final duty.. to prove he only wants the best for her.. Adi as a friend aspires to give her away.. to arshad Zoya can see his eyes well up as hers do to.. she mutters why did he come and put him self through such pain? Adi torn with emotion, replies he came because he could sense she needed his support in taking the big stride! he confesses bitterly , being in love with her is his problem! And he'll be damned! if he lets his unrequited love swamp their loyal friendship! Zoya mouth trembles, ready to cry as both stare lingeringly at each other in these fast approaching final moments between them! Adi brings his jest to release his deep anguish and begs her to cut the tearful gazes as she weaken his tough stance.. taking her hand he leads her on and she follows behind sluggishly.. suddenly her dupatta gets caught in a ornamental flower pot holder. Adi is tugged to a halt! His heart anticipates ,may be she has a change of heart? may be she'll confess she loves him? the hitched dupatta, relates to the fact that even the universe wants them to tarry a while and take the right decision! But Adi turns and sees the cause of the delay! He frees her mantle.. not meant for him and carry's on the laborious, torturous journey of giving up the love of his life to another.. all because he wants to see her happy
Ameena is impatient about the arrival of the late bride! She taunts, hope she has not eloped with her lover Aditya! All are stunned into silence when they watch Aditya escorting the bride down the stairs! Arshad's mother taunts.. some cheek Zoya has , having the nerve to come down for marriage with her lover! Ameena's animosity towards Zoya is not hidden! What is Waseem pushing his daughter into? Having a mother in law from hell!
Waseem wants to eat Adi alive and blames him for the scene! Roshnaq stops him and remarks she can tell sense that Adi is not here to create trouble, there lies a certain solemnity in his eyes as opposed to disruption... overall a very sad episode! tear jerker both leads in role, take the emotional suffering of Zoya
