Bepannah ,My thoughts episodes 125 ~128 He does matter to her! so one hasty wedding!
Epi 125, Thursday 6th Sept: Arjun was not going to sit back and watch his brother go to pieces. He has to be proactive to reap results. Since Noor wasn't answering her calls, very much like Adi, Arjun too goes directly to Zoya's house to speak to her in person. But he overlooks he has to go past the sentinel of the household to get to Zoya. Waseem treats Arjun as a message delivery boy for Aditya. Gives Arjun the curt message, that as of now Aditya and Zoya's friendship terminates. That Zoya has decided to get engaged with Arshad and as Zoya's father he forbids any Hooda trying to talk her out of her resolve! With that Arjun is told to leave! Even Noor forbidden to have anything to do with either of the Hooda brother. Waseem is keeping Hoodas well out of bounds from Zoya's engagement. Waseem ensures all of Zoya's support systems are quashed!
Arjun probably regrets his venturing forth to Zoya's house if only Noor had picked up her phone , he could have been warned. Arjun is over all miffed by the treatment he gets at the hands of Noor s dad, plus Zoya choice disappoints him, how will he break the news to Adi and how will he handle his brothers heart break? No wonder on seeing Noor Arjun is short with her.. Zoya and Adi's messy issue trickles down to create angst between Arjun and Noor too.
That slap from Zoya proves a point to Adi that she avoids the issue, that she too loves him. Arjun gives Adi the news which Adi more or less expected from Zoya.. commit another mistake in her life. Marry a man without really loving him. Adi feels responsible for her, if he can help it he will dissuade her from committing a blunder yet again. Arjun gives him the confirmed bleak news.. Anjana hears the news too. secretly she couldn't have had better news for quite some time. Dejected Arjun suggests Adi s love appears one-sided. Not to Adi it seems. Had he sensed it. He would have never expressed his love before her. Adi is firm in his belief that Zoya too loves him as much as he does. She is just oblivious to it. She is trying to show Adi that she doesn't love Adi and to prove her point , she is rushing into marriage with this Arshad, whom she can never love, had Adi been around or not!
Adi has the blue print of his overall mission. To make Zoya aware that its him she loves only. Yet obdurately she refuses to come to terms with it. Now he will see to it that she faces the fact that Adi does make a difference to her. Adi will strive for this goal. That will he will go to any degree to make his point that he does matter to Zoya ! she is fearful of facing her love for Adi. What Adi perhaps fails to pick up is that Zoya is terrified to even think about loving again, after what Yash did to her. The man destroyed the virtue to love another man so she too could move on. Aditya too now is determined to make her aware that she does love
Noor comes across the true face of some office practices that exploit newly hired keen to work staff. Where young starters keenness is taken advantage off! well beyond the limits of ethical conditions of code and conduct. Noor does the best thing she can! packs up her job and leaves. Have to say, even at first she acts the novice at her job , but her at risk assessment skills are quite admirable. She does the right thing. Not sure why her work at Zosh events is being overlooked by her?
Zosh events is the place where Adi can have a heart to heart with Zoya, about the latest venture she is about to embark in her life. Macabre humour is order of the day! coupled with saying it with flowers does not go amiss with Adi. Sean tries to hide the bouquet but Zoya does see the congratulations card. She wants to know who from? Sheepishly they look at the cabin. On sticking her head in, she finds a beaming Adi sitting on her chair welcoming her in her own office. Zoya is no mood for his theatrics! but he turns around and tells her she's the one who is creating the drama with this wedding of hers! Zoya tries to tell him to leave but he reminds her, he too is a co partner in this company in case she's forgotten. His bizarre sarcasm gets to her! and she retorts her wedding is her business and as for him, best if didn't mix business and professional issues. Adi came to talk straight with her and jolly well would. He grabs her hand and insists she cut the drama and listen to what he has to say! Zoya resists and Adi roughly tells her she doesn't want to hear him out because she is frightened of her own emotions! That she is deaf to the voices of her heart! which are crying out to her that once again she is about to make mistake! She keeps ignoring him. But he reminds her that time when she hunted him down to the local pub and found him acting weird and strange? Today he can see that same oddness in her behaviour! She seems to have lost the plot! She too is fearful and lost just like he was! But then he realized the reason behind his strange behaviour! Suddenly the fear and confusion departed from him, when he realized that she meant much to him..that he loved her! the confusion in his mind that made him fearful was that they were such close friends.. how could he love her?? was he making a mistake again like he did with Pooja ! he was good friends with her too! Yes he was frightened of miscalculating friendship for love! he too ran away from that feeling , but by each passing day the love grew stronger! Till his feelings became the very source of his life line! how and when it happened neither he knew nor she? it just happened! he embraced his emotions . Now its time ! she has to face up to the callings of her heart! listen to how she feels for him. He warns her not to marry Arshad for this time it will not be a mistake on her part but a gross crime! That she will commit towards them both! Zoya is completely gobsmacked , floored by Adi's pleas .. simple and straight forward! Fantastic scene this was not amateur dramatics on Adi's part! To validate his points, what better way than to give his own example ! Zoya can relate to it! She experienced those moments with him!!
But Zoya awakens from her trance as he tenderly wipes her tears with his finger tips.. and pushes him back! and calls him a liar! She frees her self and tries to flee!but he grabs her hand yet again! and yells she is the liar! Trying to make herself believe that she doesn't love him! she orders him to let go of her hand but Adi stares in her face and replies ,her hand he will not let go off till the next seven births! She retorts not one word of his does she believe in ! she doesn't care! Adi asks her, does it matter not to her? when he tells her he's going away from her? she replies no! he demands to know than why the hell does she pick fights with her father and others when he got blamed? Does it not matter to her when he gets hurt? Zoya says no again. why did she eat noodles with him when he was upset? Zoya has nothing to say! Adi gets close to her and stares her in the eyes tenderly and asks.. does it still not matter to her? out of the blue Arshad barges in sees Zoya pasted into the wall by Aditya and lands a punch on Adi's face! Adi shaken gathers himself and hits Arshad back who yells how dare he hurt his fianc! Arshad hits Adi again! and Zoya looks on in horror! Adi hits Arshad and growls she is not his fiance but his Zoya! Arshad warns Adi , better not think he is mister nice guy! Did he fail to hear that Zoya is saying no! Adi argues it does matter to her! for that Arshad punches him again and Adi chants with a busted lip with a sarcastic smile, it does matter to her! all staff look in from the out side as Arshad lands in more hard ones on Adi who with bleeding lip continues to smile and chant.. it does matter to her.. Zoya cries and finally steps in between them as Adi crashes on to the floor , muttering it does matter to her.. Zoya rushes to him and rests his bleeding face on her lap. Adi looks up into her weeping eyes and gives her a smile... muttering will you still say it doesn't matter to you Zoya? it does matter to you.. Arshad looks down at them!
Well what a bloody, graphic episode. Adi knows how to turn a situation around. If Zoya acts stubborn then, Adi too is no less obstinate. He will get himself beaten black and blue to force her to realize that its no good hiding behind a faade. Face up to the fact that she loves him as intensely as he loves her. Face up, that he does matter to her! For Adi it's not about male supremacy over another male, especially his rival. It's about pulling the truth out of Zoya's emotion. The fight is a personal matter between a pair of lovers. Arshad's arrival does wonders for giving a big push towards Adi's cause! Plot point of view it's not a pleasant sight seeing Adi reduced to a pulp by Arshad. The episode marks the beginning of Adi's aggressive tirades towards both Zoya and Arshad. Arshad's can be see as Adi acting in self defence. His fury against Zoya speaks for itself for all to see. Is his rage likely to escalate? if he doesn't make a headway in convincing Zoya to confess? She too loves him! he matters to her!
Ep 126 Friday 7th Sept: ep: Aditya carried out his point to Zoya vividly and boldly. He ends up being a humbled prostrate wounded man in Zoya's arms. Arshad sees it all , he is rendered quite powerless. Adi was tended to by the office staff but emerges as winner! Zoya turns to see he was cared for. Arshad has to now appease Zoya win over her soft side. Thus Arshad to redeem his own persona being a professional, comes out with an apology for his part in the rowdy brawl. So he should! As he was the one who initiated it all in the name of saving his lady's honour. The truth is that for Adi it was not a matter of his manly honour. For Adi it was about , telling Zoya a home truths about her behaviour. It was about forever being her protector who kept her best interests at heart always.
Arshad still despite the tempestuous incident, Zoya's final concern for Aditya, continues to be flexible with Zoya. He asks her yet again if she is sure about marrying her. Zoya continues to cut her nose to spite her face and commits to her already decision. Arshad does serve her with a chilling warning, that should ever a third person come in between them after they commit to each other against her wishes .Then he will not spare that person. Really its warning her in a veiled way, that if ever he finds out that Aditya comes between them as third party , he would hold Zoya responsible for allowing it to happen! His gives Zoya dadi's ancsestoral bangles . symbolically ring fencing her wrists almost like a pair of handcuffs into a relationship for life. Zoya smiles feebly like a mechanical porcelain doll quite bland minus sentiments, in comparison to the rush of spontaneous feelings that she experienced and displayed at the sight of life less fallen Aditya!
Noor shows interest in meeting Arjun. they arrange a lunch time date. Her evil boss bogs her down with work so as to sabotage her lunch time date. Arjun waits in the restaurant, lunch time passes and Arjun ends up feeling being stood up!
Zoya returns to her office after seeing Arshad off and attempts to try one of the bangles he left for her. As fate has it ! ominously it slips out of her hands being a tight fit for her screwed up hand! bounces on the floor ,rolls and ends up at the feet of Adi in the half open door. With a smile he sneers.. seems like Yash's ring which was an ill fit for fingers, this bangle too is a not her size. Goes to show she always ends up with things that mismatch her size! They are good in appearance , well turned out like Arshad but never the less a mismatch for her! Adi tries the romantic approach with her , why she looks for things that are unsuitable for her. with a smile he coaxes her to look carefully the right match for her is before her! Zoya hisses at him and pushes him back from her again. he reminds her of their banters! Tells her she needn't worry he back with the bang! Eventually the truth will dawn upon her ,that its him she loves and not that Arshad! Zoya goes into past patronising mode with him and tells him to grow up ! Zoya tells him she declines working with him, and demands to buy him out! Adi refers to the termination clause set out in the contract ! requires a month's notice ! Zoya too knows the ropes that 30 days fail to apply in case of marriage, pregnancy , accident or in case of the person's faltaliy! Adi brushes them all side lightly and harps on about she'll have to put up with him till her marriage in a months time! Zoya drops a bomb on him..not really her marriage is in a weeks time! Adi cannot help it his eyes do pop out Zoya loves what she sees and gives him an invite to come and witness it for him self! Adi too retorts back come he will for sure! But then would she cope with him being there watching her getting married to someone else other than him! Zoya smiles cockily come and see for your self when she will marry someone else right in front of his very eyes!
Their camaraderie seems to be back.. Zoya may maintain before him she doesn't love him, but his perseverance makes her rush into things. it's clear to him she is running from him, from what she feels about Adi. As for Adi, right after the fight between him and Arshad . How he bounces back as bold as brass! gets on the task of convincing Zoya she is committing against both of them. Adi will change his strategies accordingly , but no way is going to quit waging the war of awakening Zoya to her stubborn suppressed feelings!
Ep 127 Monday 10th Sept: The wedding in a weeks time? Waseem is not going to discourage the idea! Especially if Zoya prompts it. The sooner the better! Thank heavens for Waseem!! that finally Zoya grasps her fathers instruction that Arshad is the best man for her. Zoya in turn gets her fathers favour! In privacy though Zoya cannot help comparing Arshad s words and Aditya's opinion. Her mother can sense a turmoil within Zoya.Yet Zoya lies through her teeth as if to sound off to herself rather than her mother. For the first time in life she is sure she is on the right track! As for the bangles sitting on her bed, they are rather a tight fit that's why they are not around her wrists! How can they be? As in reality Zoya still dithers! Forcing them on her wrists ,painfully brings Adi s words!
Wedding in a weeks time! such haste shows bad results! No venues are available ! one text from Adi alerts Zoya and a thought, crosses her mind! That will fit rather nicely in her present grand scheme of things! Zosh events can arrange and Adi can head it! What better way to make her point that she does not love Adi! Zoya heads for his house! Where the cold , dismissive Anjana refuses Zoya to cross the threshold of her house! But Adi expects this visit from Zoya! after all he to actively plays his move to dissuade her from her erroneous decision! She is quite put off to learn that it was Adi who bought all the venues her family might consider! She argues, he might as well give up if he thinks he will strike his love in her! by delaying her marriage! Adi sticks to his guns! He needn't spark love in her as he knows its there already! But what he will do? god help him! is deter her from yet again making a mistake in her life! Enterinto a loveless marriage yet again! that will smash her heart this time into a million pieces.. This time beyond repair. he begs her to grant him time she'll find out she loves him! Zoya resists and reinstates she does not love him. but he challenges her , than why are her eyes tearful??? How smartly he winds her up into saying fine no venues here than she'll have her wedding in Mussorie then! Adi taunts she runs to Mussorie as she knows full well she cannot bear marrying before him! what a trap this is. For as she turns to leave! She stops and does just that what Adi wanted all along! Gives him the contract to arrange her wedding! Thing is Zoya knows exactly how her obdurate brain works! its like both are out to prove issues to themselves! He wants to verify that she loves him not! and she wants to attest by marrying Arshad at the earliest. Adi looks at the advance payment cheque she presses on his palm! She realizes the blunder she made! Now if she pulls out of the deal of him organizing her wedding! He will surely conclude that she loves him! Zoya should know that for Adi she is a well read book! It's for herself she remains a closed book!
Arjun thinks Adi is out of his mind to take up arranging Zoya's wedding Adi once more makes it known to the audience his "method behind his madness the only way he can reiterate to Zoya she is committing a repeated mistake. Arjun, naturally fears for his brothers welfare and rather gently reminds Adi that not all love stories have a happy ending. But Adi disagrees with great fortitude! He will continue to awaken love for himself in Zoya till the point, she doesn't say "qubool hai, I do! to Arshad!.
Ep 128 Tuesday 11th Sept : It's his business to defend Zoya and create waves all around! It was always the case with Adi , he has been her lord protector as he knows her like the back of his hand. How Adi defends Zoya against the likes of Anjana.He has been aware of his mother's dislike for Zoya . Anjana too wages her own war to put Adi off her! that he does good to her and she invariably hurts him. like she's marrying Arshad! Adi gently clarifies that she doesn't know Zoya as well eugh as he doesn't know her well enough !zoya would rather hurt herself rather than see others in pain. That if he'a about today its Zoya who stopped him from leaving. His return ticket speaks for itself. Disappointed Anjana tells him she thought he stayed for his mother's sake! this is Anjana's problem she always wants her son's undivided love. with Pooja she had the same issue now Zoya too proves a potential threat for this madly possessive mother! Adi words are sincere and poignant how he was lost after Pooja's betrayal and it was Zoya who gathered his spirits and taught him how to live again! thus how can he not love Zoya? basically Adi is telling his mother she failed to reach those areas where Zoya got to, to comfort and support him during his weakest emotional moment! But Anjana hammers on about Zoya being the wrong girl for him! its Harsh who can see his sons passion.. and he warns Anjana to stay clear off Adi and his intense love for Zoya. if she virtually doesn't lose her self for good! Harsh believes and honours Adi's cry that he would go turn against any one who comes between his love for Zoya. Harsh should know.. he must have experienced it when he left Anjana for some other woman! Anjana seems left out on her own in this father and son bonding!
Zoya gets a mouthful from her father for giving her wedding arrangements to Adi! what got into her! she tells them the man booked all the sought after venues! Plus his taunts , she loves him made her give him the contract to prove he doesn't matter to her! Roshnak calms Waseem down, that Arshads family may be fine with the arrangement it's the only option available! Arshad s mother is anxious about Aditya's involvement. But since Arshad too is in battle too.. he knows his strengths! Waseem's undying support for him and Zoya's herself s willingness to marry him! so what Aditya wants Zoya wants him as her husband that's what matters to Arshad. How Adi keeps a brave face.. its his confidence in Zoya. he is not one hopeless lover defeated in love for her wedding it will be how Aditya imagines it to be ostentatious ! For all to see above all, her! that Adi will not leave no leaf unturned to move her into confessing that yes she loves him! Zosh staff win Adi's admiration as a deep down wounded lover. But this hurt of his makes him take bold strides towards the fleeing from him Zoya!
Beautiful scene between sisters. Noor's loyal support towards Adi hits Zoya in the heart. she knows her sister can truly see through. Zoya bursts into tears and begs for her kohinoor's support! She needs Noor's oath ,whatever happens Noor will stand by her appi !
Adi sends Zoya a text which she opens and he smiles.. never mind her response, she read his message.. how come his thoughts are keeping her awake?Mind you Waseem has his feelers and he warns Noor ,the time has come when she has to act as the older sister rather as the younger sister before Zoya!
