Adi is in a hurry to take action, tell Zoya he loves her as this will prevent problems later. That is to say she will know where she stands with regards to his feelings. Unfortunate for him the selection of the best time for saying the three magic words to achieve the desired effect, ends up with interruptions from the outside world. Thus making Adi feel that he misses the promptness of telling Zoya how he feels about their relationship. Just when he attempts to make use of the good timing i.e giving her the snow globe, that to him she is not just a friend but his first love.
Trouble is he is too much in a hurry, without taking into account there is a party underway in his house, and he will face interruptions. Which of course he does when Harsh comes and wants him to see leaving guests off! his haste in confessing love to Zoya is based on the fact that she will, keeping their friendship in mind, probably end up reciprocating his love. This points to how he sees things from his prospective.
Actually its his about time he acted! attitude, stems more so from the two week courtship period chalked out by Arshad. So really I don't blame Adi entirely. He wants to be ahead of time in declaring his love to Zoya, before Arshad does.
The world of difference between Harsh and Anjana's tolerance level towards Zoya. Harsh at least shows gratitude towards Zoya for putting out a great event. Who knows Harsh might be making a conscious effort in praising Zoya before Adi to win his son over further. However Harsh s instruction to Zoya over unclaimed thank you gifts be deposited in their bedroom, creates a rough moment between Zoya and Anjana and ends up cascading one incident that leads to another in succession. Worst of all Zoya ending up with Arshad at the end of the party
Arjun and Noor's timely interventions of ensuring Zoya and Arshad stay well clear, away from each other, is sweet. How endearingly these two in their harmless ,amusing ways only look out for the interests of their older siblings.
With the party coming to a timely end. Anjana continues to be plagued by Sakshi loose in the bathroom! what if Harsh and Adi bump into her? Anjana would be finished. Mind you Anjana like a never ending shadow of evil! spreads all the way across Hooda house. Sakshi s efforts at drawing some body's attention by opening and closing the blinds ,is spotted by Anjana.
Wasim and Roshana's scene at the Siddiqui home is very interesting to watch. Wasim struggles down with a heavy suitcase, relates to how fathers feel burdened by the responsibility of getting their daughters married off. The care they put into collecting trousseau .Within Wasim their lies regret that he was totally out of being part and parcel of Zoya's marriage to Yash. Now with this suitcase of trousseau he had collected over the years, with significant exotic items, new dreams , new hopes spark up in him. Wasim builds castles in the air regards Arshad and Zoya getting married. Roshana at least reminds him ,that Zoya has not given her definitive yes. But Waseem is so taken in with the idea , that he is confident nothing will go wrong this time for Zoya. For him doesn't take dreams much time to become reality. He is the one who fantasises about Zoya s marriage to Arshad. Sees them both like an ideal couple.
Suspense races against time as Zoya and Noor deposit the uncollected token gifts in Harsh and Anjana's bedroom. Sakshi tries to draw their attention! But Anjana barges in in a matter of time and rudely pushes Zoya and Noor out of her room! Once more Anjana is well ahead of her time in saving herself from her misdeeds. Things end up at a bad point. Anjana mouths off at Zoya. However since Harsh wants to know what causes Anjana's kafuffle was about? For the very first time Zoya courageously puts Anjana in her place ! informing her it was her husband she should have a go at! since he didn't seek her permission first for the gifts to be left there!
It was only a question of time when Zoya would fearlessly fight Anjana when she was wrongly picked upon. As it is, all evening Zoya tolerated uncalled for downright rudeness from Anjana.
All is fair in love and war. It was a funny scene where Adi and Arjun both try to put Arshad off from dropping Zoya home. Both brothers verbally lead Arshad on a wild goose chase! Dissuading him from Zoya and Arshad getting together. But despite Adi and Arjun's efforts, tables turn and Zoya in a huff herself asks Arshad to drop her home!
Its bad timing for Anjana ,despite her mad yo yo act of jumping ! hiding Sakshi ! her captive ends up in the boot of Adi's car! Adi was going after Zoya and Arshad to apologize to Zoya for his mothers surly behaviour!
In the car ,the time is just right for Arshad to play the sympathy card with Zoya. mind you its Zoya first gives him signs of getting closer. When Zoya confides in him, that she fails to understand why Aditya's mother always picks on her and puts her down? Arshad goes in for the kill! Empowers her that no matter what anyone says, she is the best event manager in the whole world! he uses the technique of praise and encouragement to worm himself into her heart. He could work out Zoya needed that bit of emotional support,he could see Zoya was visibly shaken. That Anjana had dismissed her efforts by aggressively telling her to leave her house as the event had finished now! now could Zoya have complained to Adi about his mother??
While Zoya and Arshad have an interesting conversation about dhols and weddings in uk.. Arshad tries to impress her with the fact he may have been settled abroad, but he still relates to his roots. It's amusing to see Adi curses his bad time! Of time and again missing the chance to tell Zoya about his love for herself. He begins to see the whole universe against him! and openly favouring Arshad in impressing his Zoya! Adrenalin pumps in him and follows Arshad and vows today he will beat time it self! and tell Zoya how he feels, before it gets too late!!
Sakshi in Adi's boot feels the sharp turn off the road into a slip road. Gasps ,for breath! Adi becomes suspicious of Arshad s motives.. bringing Zoya in the dead of night in a dimly lit area.. what has Arshad got in his mind? As usual the protector in Adi comes forefront !
The time is just right for young love to be sealed!! with a kiss! But Arjun and Noor both have to duck! behind a car, as the demonic danger Anjana turns up unannounced! Beware righteous ones!
By the sounds of it in the, finale of the episode Wasim openly encourages Zoya to keep Arshad s company in the dead of the night, in an effort for them to know more about each other. Strike a bonding and gel with each other. He allows his daughter Zoya more time to know about Arshad. Arshad sure has the good times cut out ,firmly on his side. Wasim in fact , insists, she take her own time dear! Every minute is precious for Zoya and Arshad .. that he trusts her in Arshad's company..
So really, Adi is up against Zoya's getting to know Arshad two week programme. Adi will also have to fight against her fathers Wasim s condemnation of himself and recommendation of Arshad . For me the hardest one is going to be winning over Zoya's love.. but one thing is for sure,Adi will not take it lying down! he will fight for his love! which may mean overhauling his personality further. hamlet53 21.8.18
