So, it is established that Zoya is Adi's first love which he will acknowledge tomorrow. Pooja wasn't his love, she was his best friend.
Adi is Zoya's first friend which she admits openly & quite frequently. Yash was not her friend.
As of now, it will be Adi's love Vs Zoya's friendship until Zoya reaches a level to reciprocate Adi's feelings. Arshad will act as a catalyst for Zoya to complete the Adi-Zoya equation where she might finally be able to realize the actual feelings masked by her friendship.
In precap, Pooja is Adi's hallucination & Zoya is there for real. And tomorrow, Adi will finally choose between his past & future. He will finally come out of shadows of past & step into light of the future which will be a different journey altogether which he has never undertaken before. He will come out of his friendship facade and step into lover's shoes from tomorrow finally in his full conscience.
