Abhi na jaao chodh kar,
Ke Dil Abhi bhara nahi...
He silently slipped from the 36th year celebration of his parents' wedding. Zoya had arranged the grandest party that she managed to do with her team. Aditya was ecstatic by her efforts, never mind his mother wasn't happy; she has kind of subconsciously made it her habit to complain and be unhappy. She would frown at his grown hair, or Arjun's out of the blue informal dressing, or Mr Hooda eating out, or even Marcus leaving a speck of dust on the pristine glass top. She would be unhappy all the while on the smallest matter; Zoya was still a bigger issue.
His cab was waiting outside the mansion. Amongst so many cars in the parking, it practically got unnoticed, he was happy about that; nothing like it was a big deal for him to sneak out. He knew he has grown to be very shrewd in this matter.
Satisfied to be finally moving to another destination Aditya laid his head against the headrest of the seat. He needs to have an eye shut. He was exhausted since his return, what with all the emotional outbursts and his parent's party and some bugging emotions he felt whenever he met Zoya... He shook his head to ward off all those thoughts. None of such emotions is going to follow him.
But unknown to himself, he was followed. Followed ever since he sneaked out his house rolling his luggage in the most discrete manner. He was sure no one noticed him. True... No one noticed, except for that two pair of eyes that were fixed on him ever since. Was there a motive behind this silent stalking or other reason; he would find out later.
He got down his cab, rolling his luggage towards the check-in into the airport when he felt a pair of fingers tapping on his shoulder. He turned around to meet a pair of two angry eyes, flaring heat in those red eyes taunted his surprised ones. Before he could gather some words to even exchange pleasantries, a stinging slap came straight in his cheek.
Turning his head straight after the jerk that it had with the tight slap, he looked astonished in those angry eyes. Zoya was seething in anger looking at him. He just had a breath after recovering from that slap when she held him by his collar and jerked him to and fro. Nothing like her strength could move him an inch, but never the less it jerked him for sure.
"Aap khud Ko samajhte kya hain? Kahin ke Rajkumar hain ki sab pe Hukum chalaayenge aur sab aapki kidmat mein "Jee huzoor" kehte rahenge?" Zoya seethed between her clenched teeth.
"Zoya, kya kar rahi ho, sab dekh rahe hain..." Aditya held on to Zoya's wrists that held his shirt.
"Badi parvaah ho rahi hai aapko logo ki? Humari parvaah nahi Hui aapko? Ek Baar bhi nahi socha aapne ki kya guzregi Zoya par agar main chala gaya toh?" Zoya was still very angry, though hot tears started forming in her eyes.
"Kya bol rahi ho tum Zoya. Tum bohot stressed ho... Ghar jaake aaraam karo..." Aditya distracted her...
"Aaraam karein? Kisliye? Isliye ki kal hum saj dhaj ke baith jaayein aur, aur koi aake humko pasand karke le jaaye, aur hum aapki yaad mein tadap-tadap kar Zindagi guzar Dein?" Zoya was breaking further.
"Main samjha nahi..." Aditya was nonplussed at Zoyas outburst.
"Aap kyu samjhenge... Jo humare saath guzar raha hai, wo aapke saath jo nahi guzar raha. Aap kya jaanein humne kya kya raaste chune aapke saath kuch lamhe guzaar ne ke liye... Aapke ammi-abbu ke kitne taane sune, humare Abbu ki bejaa(unnecessary) shartein maani, apna khoon-paseena ek kar diya, aapke lamhe khoobsurat karne ke liye. Aur Aap ye sila de rahe hain humein? Humein chodhke Jaa rahe hain..." Zoya hit her fist on his chest in complaint.
"Tumhare abbu ne kaun si shart rakh di..?" Aditya was frustrated at the incorrigible attitude of both their parents.
"Shaadi ki... Arshad se... Remember his call? Yahi shart thi aapki party organise karne ke badle mein." Zoya complained.
Aditya's fingers suddenly felt listless, for no reason he knew. Just that he wasn't expecting this out of the rest of the things. "Shaadi?" The handle of his trolley left his fingers and the carry bag drabbled down on the ground.
"Ji Haan Janaab Aditya Hooda, shaadi... Wo bhi ek aise shaks se jinko hum jaante tak nahi... Mohabbat toh door ki baat hai. Aur humko iss majdhaar mein akele chodh ke aap Jaa rahe hain?" Zoya was complaining as If all her problems were coz of Aditya.
"Main kya kar sakta hoon? Tumhari Shaadi rukhwa dunga toh tumhare Abbu mera sar qalam kar denge." Aditya guffawed.
"Shaadi rukwa nahi sakte hain toh Shaadi toh kar sakte hain? Kya aapko humse Mohabbat ka ek bhi Katra mehsoos nahi hota, ho humein aapse mehsoos hota hai?" She asked in surrender.
"Tumhein mujhse Mohabbat hai?" He was astonished.
"Ji Haan... Janab Aditya Hooda. Mohabbat hai humko aapse... Inn 7 dino mein Roz yahi ehsaas hua humein. Aur hum aapko ab nahi kho sakte." Zoya told.
"Pehle kyu nahi bola? Main issue ehsaas se bhaag bhaag ke hi toh itne mahine guzaar raha tha, ki Jo mujhko mehsoos ho raha hai wo tumhein nahi ho raha. Iss baar main wo ghatiyaan nahi karunga jo Pooja ke saath ki thi... Jo usko mehsoos hi nahi hua, maine uspe wo sab thop diya. Tumhare saath Aisa nahi karna chahta tha." He explained.
"Ab pata chal gaya na ki hum bhi Wahi mehsoos karte hain Jo aap karte hain, toh phir bataaiye Janab Aditya Hooda, shaadi karenge humse?" Zoya took her hand out to ask his hand.
"Badi Besharam ladki ho. Apni shaadi khud hi propose kar rahi ho..." Aditya had the Twinkle back in his eyes.
"Wo toh hum Hain hi..." Zoya took his hand in hers and cuddled it to her cheek. He pulled her in his embrace, he toes hardly touching the ground, he had swept her up in his arms.
"Qubool hai To-be-Mrs.Zoya Aditya Hooda" he said, as he smilingly looked at everyone clapping around them to cheer them up.
