 Bepannah ~ My thoughts ~ep 62. 12.6.18.  Court date!

There are snide comments about courting; wooing to appease; court appearances and law suits!  First court date! All delivered tongue in cheek. Yet the reality of court appearance for Aditya Hooda and Zoya  Siddique is inevitable. Their lives already a part and parcel of media is now ready to be thrashed blue and black before the visionless goddess of justice! great is the enthusiasm to see which way she tips her scales. In favour or against our innocent protagonists.

Where being champion for justice is overruled by being a desperate father. Arjun's suggestion is spurned aside!Harsh is determined to keep his promise to his son Adi ,  he'll get him out of that hell hole! Rajveer with delaying tactics, gets under the skin of a father who is god to his family, infallible! It's about humans showing true grit in their own domain. Due to his paternal binds, like Adi , Harsh too feels , he cannot have it out with Rajveer. As  the four walls of the cells is the cops power base! Harsh is raring to go! Although Arjun is far more cautious than his confident father, warns Rajveer might overwhelm Adi in court and influence the judge by churning up evidence against Adi.  Rajveer plays mind games  with the Hooda's  in  withholding his evidence. Apart from weakening Hooda defence preparation, he also creates conflict within the Hooda camp.

His eyes pay court to her every wound , she suffered on his account. His heart and mind both are resigned in the decision he takes.  That Zoya too gets the same quality of defence assigned to him! by the best lawyer in town. His father. Zoya too, watches his bad shape and takes into account, how he suffered protecting her.  Each bears their personal pain stoically. So as to sustain each others fighting spirit.

A call from a sincere well wisher, Sakshi , is welcomed by a distraught Arjun. No  surprise she wants to know about Adi. Arjun is brief and cautiously only speaks on a needs to know basis. Mind you, despite all Sakshi  went through, she still offers to help in the case.. Arjun is more interested in what news his mother gives his father. She seems to lose her grip over her sentiments. Harsh can fight cases, but can he fight this mother's hysterics. Anjana fears, she might lose her son again?

There is a degree of insecurity and fear of what might happen in court the following day?  Aditya has to make use of the time with her. Feels the need to off load about how and what he feels about her, and about the predicament she has ended up in. All due to him.

The scene is natural and uncontrived, as it stems from an injury Zoya incurs, due to his kneejerk reaction of asking Zoya to abscond with him! It's noteworthy how both bounce off  each other in sharing  each others shortcomings. How both cover up each others actions without blaming the other. Like when Adi blames his rash mindset for all her present discomforts. Zoya reminds him, not really, she may look dense, but she  herself took the decision of running with him, he didn't sway her mind. As to her largely, , at  the given time, it was the best option open for both. They talk the talk, but for Adi its her twisted ankle pain, that concerns him. The  scene works on Aditya's constant strategy  of empowering Zoya in her own  assets. Zoya argues it was he who clicked  her finger back in its joint. Zoya reminisces and prefers that this time too, he repair her ankle. Seeing it is next to impossible. Since they have the distance of the prison bars.. Adi rather not see her in pain. Although like him, she too hides her torture!  But Adi wants to see her out of agony asap! So he cajoles her to gather her courage and yank her ankle back in place! Zoya exhibits classic symptoms , that as humans we avoid inflicting excruciating pain upon ourselves! We'd rather others give us the shock treatment instead!

 Such cuties! Rajveer with his dark wit, actually sums up their bond. One  suffers injury and the other smarts! what ever they attempt ; they act together! ran  a fraud  company together; murdered people together! Now together they will experience a court date  the following  day!!  The world will soon learn about this court dating, cute couple! Rajveer cackles!! like Mahi he too he derives a sadistic pleasure in persecuting those who are held back in putting a stiff defence, due to some binding force.

With nothing to go by, Arjun racks his brain. Deep in preparation of the defence case tomorrow he flicks through Pooja's dairy , desperate for some clues that clears his brother of   double murder. He stumbles across some evidence in the diary where Pooja refers to Adi being in the dark about her and Yash's affair. She regrets in betraying his trust.. Arjun wonders if this vital information qualifies for being part of defence case?

Siddique's visit Hooda house. The scene, shows Siddique's  seeking a confirmation if the famous Harsh Hooda will  fight his daughter  Zoya's case  along side their sons case to the best of his ability. There is complete decorum and politeness in Wasim's manner. He explains his predicament, they are new to the area.  Harsh too, appreciates the man's sincerity. They seem like two anxious fathers, wanting to save their children from serious charge they are innocent off. Wasim only follows custom and practice of showing willingness to pay the remuneration  owed to the renowned lawyer,  fighting his daughters case! Anjana turns up  like a fish wife yelling accusations at the Siddique's of daring to offer them money!

 This mother's uproar, is really a counter narrative to all that Adi  said to persuade Harsh to believe that Zoya acted entirely on his bidding!  Anjana, thus in turn, bad mouths Zoya, for misleading their innocent son Aditya! Using him to please her whims! Anjana also bad mouths ,Noor and Yash.. she accuses them all of creating upheaval in their family life. Now they come here bragging about their money and status! Harsh shuts her up and tells Arjun to take his mother away! Harsh has to assure the Siddique's , their daughter is his client and he will not fail in doing his duty to the client. The Siddiques have no choice, but to use Harsh  as the hearing is the following morning. But Anjana's hostility towards,  both Noor and Zoya can give us a clue about what the future track will pan out to be if these sisters end up marrying the Hooda brothers! Kitchen politics.. and a nervous wreck MIL!

Anjana's behaviour was totally uncalled for. To me it was perhaps more on the lines of being jealous of the Siddique's  affluence .To her it becomes clear, they are loaded, no dearth of money and power. All along Noor and Arjun just exchanged stolen glances. Noor had a glint in her eye! well coffee Nawaz! now knows that she is no vagabond but a princess!

Well  Zoya from a princess has grown into a  female warrior !thanks to the efforts of her  trainer Aditya Hooda! Who as much as he warms to her lissom, feminine persona, still prefers her more as  his  Zoya Warrior Princess !

Harsh's meeting with the inmates, is more about a father seeing his son Aditya, and clearly  less about meeting his client Zoya. Aditya he receives warmly ,but for Zoya it's a distant nod of the head to sit herself down. The brief session, is about  a father, who caution's his son against losing his wits  during the court session. The prosecution lawyer will poke and prod him to unleash his temper to prove a point to the  judge. Above all he has to turn a deaf ear to all that is brought about. He  advices Aditya must nor react! Not rise to the occasion.Adi is much perplexed. This is more like behaviour modification session. Where ,a father is talks it out with his son.

Zoya's pin drop silence, is a sign for Adi to ask his father the pivotal question. Does he believe  that he killed Pooja?? Why is Pa' sparing them from the witness box? both him and Zoya will speak nothing but the truth! Adi relies on his father, to testify in his favour. Since Pooja/ Adi, both lived before Harsh. Pity a father's testimony for his son is probably not applicable in this case. But a fathers faith in his son, can make a difference.   The silent joy Zoya feels in seeing Aditya's banking on his father. She keeps safe in her heart. Hamlet53 13.6.18

 Good episode ,evident of strong united fronts.Zoya Adi's bond progresses to self evaluation of own actions. Two families unite. To free their children from stigma..

See wasim and harsh were cordial. But for anjana her problem is fear of loss of her son. She didn't get her son who understood her but a boy who felt betrayed by his foster mother. That relation is still not secure. If adi gets a better emotional bond he can drift away which anjana feels zoya can give.hence all her problems.  It will be her journey to accept something which she doesn't like just like adi was forced to accept his dad who had cheated him. It's a complex journey which anjana and zoya would have to take. In a way zoya question anjana if her remarriage happens with adi on what anjana should have done post harsh cheating. She is the mirror of her weakness which she won't accept that easily. For adi and zoya they are moving closer. Without realizing they stand up for each other. It's only a matter of time before they realize they need each other. Those 24 hrs have literally redefined their life.
