Bouncing back in what way? You mean to say, become a Bankable star again, and compete with RK, RS, Varun? If so, then there is an outside chance. He can't become a Superstar now, because his age is over. Though I think there is still a genuine fanbase of Emraan, who just want to see him in the right film. He can't do erotic films now, because he has became old, and people have po*n to watch on mobile, so there is no demand of such films.

He can only bounce back IF(and this is a big IF), only he creates another image of himself in front of the audience.

Emraan is a very charming actor, like SRK, Ranbir, Fawad, but he never got a good female fan following because of his erotic films. Though he is really fit to star in quintessential romantic films. Romance genre is dying in Bollywood, there is also lack of charming actors who can do this genre perfectly. SRK has became old, Ranbir wants to experiment, and Fawad has left Bollywood. There is a void of a quintessential romantic hero in Bollywood. Emraan can fill this void and revive this genre, IF he uses his brain.

I think the Superstar era is over now.In future, there are only going to be Stars, not Superstars in Bollywood. None of the new generation actors Ranbir, Ranveer and Varun are actually going to get a tag of a Superstar. So Emraan does have a chance to become a comeback and become a Star again.

He seems to have lost the enthusiasm. He and Abhay deol both. Emraan is a good actor with notable screen presence. He has in the past shouldered movies solely on his talent and competed with the biggies so much so that an HR at his peak said he envies EH. But post his son's health scare he seems to have drifted away from btown. Last I heard he turned author and wrote a book. He will not be back with a bang until he wants to.

poor choice of movies ruined it. he was a mass star. he should have followed salman kind of masala action films and occasional sensible movies. abhi pata nahi..i dont think a revival is easy.
