Rumour mills have gone into an overdrive with stories of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's growing closeness. Alia's admission that Ranbir is her "biggest crush of all time" has only fanned the flames further.

Even as the media is busy speculating about the nature of her relationship with Ranbir, Alia is bonding with another Kapoor. We are talking about Ranbir's mother, Neetu Kapoor.

On Mother's Day, Alia took to Instagram to share a picture with her mother, Soni Razdan, and Neetu commented with 'Awww', followed by heart emoticons. Alia responded with kiss emoticons. Take a look:

Reports suggest that Neetu is extremely fond of Alia, and has given her stamp of approval to the Raazi actress. Earlier this year, Neetu was in Bulgaria to be a part of Alia's 25th birthday bash.

When Alia was asked how she deals with the link-up rumours, she exclusively told India Today Television, "I don't have to deal with them, because if it's true, it's true. And if it's false, it's false. Let's just say everything is not because of a movie and everything is not for publicity."

On the work front, Ranbir and Alia will be seen together on the big screen for the first time in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The two have already wrapped up the first schedule of the film in Bulgaria.

Brahmastra, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy, is being made as a fantasy trilogy, the first installment of which is slated to release in 2019.
