Aditi is absolutely gorgeous but this photoshoot has to be one of her worst ones. She looks scary in some of these pictures.

With our summer-ready May 2018 cover featuring Aditi Rao Hydari, Vogue India has become the first Indian magazine to shoot a cover photograph on a smartphone. Styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania and shot on the much-awaited OnePlus 6 by Errikos Andreou, Rai Hydari is making heads turn in the stunning image.

"We are a world obsessed with taking pictures, and a smartphone being able to do justice to a cover shot is a great testament to the continual advancement of technology, said Alex Kuruvilla, managing director, Cond Nast India, in a statement about the OnePlus and Vogue India collaboration. "Apart from being a first for the Indian market, this cover innovation is also a first for Vogue globally.

Aditi Rao Hydari was all smiles about this project too. "This cover proves how our phones are multitasking super machines. I'm happy and excited to be a part of this special innovation, she said.

Digital technology has clearly been taking over all our lives since its inception, and it touched yet another milestone this month. Photographer Errikos Andreou explains, "As professionals, we are used to having chunky, heavy cameras to shoot for assignments. The biggest advantage of shooting with a smartphone is the convenient size of the device and the resulting ease of portability. Also, the phone monitor with its large resolution is a great guide for image taking. You are looking at the photo before you even take it.

This new innovation proves that the future of digital media is already here. Check out the cover image in its full glory below.
