IMP: DT Note on Disclaimers

In the past few weeks, we've noticed a rise in the number of posts opening with a heavy disclaimer. We would like to remind you all that just because you have put a disclaimer on your post it does not allow you to get away with anything.

Using a disclaimer is your choice, but that does not stop us from reading the topic and seeing the bashing, mocking, and namecalling of characters, actors, and fangroups.

We've also noticed how people comment in the disclaimer thread calling those doing the reporting everything from blind or retaliation or a sorry excuse and so on and so forth. This has got to stop.

You are not going to be freed from action (namely a WL or a warning) just because you put in a disclaimer. And by commenting in the thread and taking it forward you are as much guilty as the TM.

Disclaimers are a form of moral policing and thus we have decided that anyone posting a disclaimer in their topic or anyone replying to a topic with a disclaimer to retaliate or to take the issue forward will all be rewarded with a WL. There will be no warnings sent to such members.
