Actually many shows in the 90s too had matured content... The story telling style was different, kinda like the Pak shows are now... Banegi apni baat, sailaab, hasratein, saans, etc... I don't remember many names, these are only the drama type shows im mentioning, not including sitcoms like shriman shrimati, family no 1 and youth shows like hip hip hurray, although banegi apni baat was a mix of youth and drama...
