I never sign films for the sake of doing a particular genre

After dealing with unsuccessful films for a period of time Katrina Kaif is back with the back with back-to-back films. While it all started with Tiger Zinda Hai opposite Salman Khan which is still going strong at few theatres and now the actress is busy wrapping the shoot of Aanand L Rai's "Zero" along with SRK and Anushka Sharma and Thugs Of Hindostan that also stars Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Sheikh in lead and important roles.

After wrapping up both the films the actress will soon start shooting for Remo D'souza's biggest dance film in 3D opposite Varun Dhawan. Well, remember the time when the actress was being bashed for her dance in moves in the initial days of her career? Post that, Katrina has time and again showed the audience her efforts towards dance and made the pupping numbers like Sheila Ki Jawani, Swag Se Swagat and Chikni Chameli smashing hit with her killer moves.

When a leading daily asked her on why she took so long to sign a dance film, she replied, "I never sign films for the sake of doing a particular genre. I follow my instinct and choose from the best scripts that come to me at a given time. When this sequel in the franchise came about, it astounded me. I liked the concept and what the makers were planning to do with the story. I love Varun and his energy. I have known Remo for a long time, too. It's an opportunity for all of us to do something special. This is the dance film I always wanted to do."

Reportedly, the actress will be prepping in many dance forms for this film. When asked she laughed and said, "It's too early to talk about it. But there will obviously be a lot of new stuff that we will try and showcase. When we get into the schedule and start planning, there will be proper training and rehearsals in different forms for every song in the film."
