Dear All,
Thank you all so much for all the kind words and appreciation that you gave for my first Samaina OS Jugaadu Sameer. It has motivated me to write another one. I have written this for Swati and Munna. I have been waiting for romance to blossom between these two and hoping to see their sweet story unfold. The CVs haven't given us much yet.. so decided to write something for that couple.

Swati-Munna OS The next step
Swati was sitting at the back of the classroom copying some notes, while some of the students were working on some science related experiments that they were supposed to present during the Science fair scheduled for next week. It was not really her area of interest and she had volunteered to help with the shopping of material required for the experiment and setup on the day of the event. Naina was busy giving some instructions to her group very authoritatively. Sameer though not very interested in the actual event or subject was very devotedly listening to her every word.
Swati smiled wryly at this scene and was about to turn back her attention to her work when she noticed Munna entering the class patting his pocket with a smile on his smile. He immediately started making his way towards the back of the class as soon as he spotted her. Any other day she would have been happy but she hadn't been in the best of moods since their last meeting in the park.
Once Naina and Sameer had got back together and for real this time, it had taken Sameer only a week or so to champion his friend's cause to Swati and get her to own up that she liked Munna too. Munna has been over the moon! Swati had always been aware of his unwavering love for her for over two years now. His sweet childlike antics and good heart had eventually made a place in her heart too. Swati always wanted someone who would make her the centre of his universe and Munna had proved his consistency. The fact that he never drooled over the likes of Kamya and had eyes only for her was a source of immense pride in her heart. Plus he had proved his Shaadi Wala Pyar during the Mt Abu trip by winning her the Teddy (by hook or crook) and insisting on eating her Candy Floss!
Munna sat down next to Swati and tried to create an appearance that he was copying from the same book as her, not that anyone would believe that Munna was suddenly serious about his studies! Swati didn't grace him with her usual smile though.
Munna: Yaar Pandit... kya hua hai? Tu do din se kuch chup chup hai...
Swati not looking at him: Kuch nahi hua hai
Munna: Yaar, kuch toh jaroor hua hai tujhe.. mujhe lagta hai tu mujhse naraaz hai.. mujhe dekh bhi nahi rahi hai
Swati still not meeting his eye: Bhala main ku tum se naraaz hone lagi
Munna now sounding worried: Swati, please bata na kya hua hai. Mujhse kuch galti hogayi kya? Yaar please maaf kar de.. tu toh mujhe jaanti hai.. kabhi kabhi main majak majak mein kuch ulta seedha bol deta hu..
Munna brought out a bar of Amul Chocolate from his pocket and offered it to Swati. He knew it was her favourite and had come ready with whatever he felt would help melt Swati's anger. Swati held on to the chocolate lightly but not really looking at it.
Munna continued: Uss din jab hum Sameer aur Sipahi ke sath park me mile thay tab toh tumhara mood achaa tha.. phir uske baad kya hua? Main kal se sooch raha hu ke maine aaisa kya kiya jiski wajah se tum naraz ho.. par mujhe such much bilkul samajh nahi aa raha hai. Please tum hi bata do. Kasam se phir nahi karunga.
Swati sounding a little dejected: Tumne kuch nahi kiya..
Munna more confused now: Tu phir kya hua? Ghar pe sab thik hai na? Mummy Papa se kuch nok jhok ho gayi kya?
Swati: Nahi.. aaise kuch nahi hai
Munna sounding a bit impatient: Aare yaar aab please seedhe seedhe bol do!
Swati stopped writing and started looking at Naina and Sameer at the front of the class. Sameer was leaning towards Naina and whispering something in her ear while others were busy with something else. (any way knowing how oblivious the student population of PVKM are to Samaina romance it wouldn't have mattered even if he was serenading her!) Naina was struggling to keep a straight face.
Swati blurted: Ussne uska hath pakda tha aur..
Munna suddenly taken aback and confused: Kissne kiska hath padka tha?
Swati: Sameer ne
Munna looking at Sameer: Sipahi ka?
Swati sounding irritated: Ha Naina ka.. aur kisska hath pakdega wo? Aur sirf hath nahi pakda tha..
Munna now shocked and a little scared: Toh aur kya kiya?
Swati: Uss din park mein hath pakad ke I love you bhi bola
Munna face palming: Gayi bhees pani mein!
Munna continued shaking his head in disbelief: Yaar Swati iss ladke ko toh aa bail mujhe maar' bolne ki beemari ho gayi hai! Dekh main usse samjhane ki koshish jaroor karunga, par asar kitna hoga iss baat ki koi guarantee nahi le sakta.
Munna looking in Sameer and Naina's direction: Par ye kay baat hui bhala? Tum se sheekayat karke aab madamji khud toh uss ke sath baadi muskura muskura ke baat kar rahi hai..
Swati still sounding irritated: Naina ne mujhse koi sheekayat nahi ki hai
Munna more confused: Toh phir?? Tum ku unko leke itni naraaz ho? Aare, maine toh kuch aaisa nahi kiya tumhare sath..
Munna continued in a tone trying to pacify her: Waise tum usski inn hairkaton ko galat maat samjho.. wo kya hai na wo Naina se bohoot jyada pyar karta hai.. bus issiliye shayad kabhi kabhi thoda utawla ho jaata hai .. aur control nahi kar pata hai.
Swati just gave him an annoyed look and made a face.
Munna: Yaar hum toh un se dur bhaithe thay.. aur main toh tumhare liye ice-cream bhi laaye gaya tha.. aab mujhe kaise pata chalta Sameer ne kya kiya.
Swati angrily handing him back the chocholate: Ha tum toh bus mujhe chocolate aur ice-cream hi dete raho! Tumhe kya main paanch saal ki bhacchi nazar aati hu?! Mujhe nahi chahiye ye saab..
Munna was completely baffled and couldn't think of anything to say. He had no idea where this was heading.
Swati continued: Park se wapas jaate waqt Naina toh shaarmakar Sameer ne kaise pura waqt uska hath hi nahi choda bata rahi thi.. main kya batati? Ye ke tum pura waqt mujhe aab Pandit ka dil kiss pe aaya hai yehi bata rahe thay.. Aagli baar uss Pant wale Pandit ko hi aapne sath park le jana. Waise bhi mujhe lagta hai tumhe mujhse jyada ussi se pyar hai.. toh shaayad tum usska hi hath pakad loge, mera toh pakadne se rahe!
Suddenly realising what she had said, Swati blushed and tried to cover it up rather unsuccessfully. Finally it dawned on Munna what was the real issue. Swati wasn't mad at Sameer's romantic initiatives but rather at his lack of the same. He wasn't sure how this should make him feel, whether he should be overjoyed at what Swati was hoping for or feel stupid that it had come to a point where the poor girl had to actually complain about something like this! At this point Munna was blushing more than Swati though.
Munna smiling shyly: Aare Pandit tub hi na.. itna baat ko ghuma pheera ke ku karti ho? Waise tum gusse mein Ma kasam bohoot sunder lag rahi ho
Swati fumbling now: Aur tum aaj bhi bun.. (she stopped suddenly knowing he didn't really like being called a bundar by her)
Munna smiling indulgently: Koi baat nahi.. aaj bundar hi bula lo..
Munna quickly looked around and picked up one of the books. He placed it on the desk in such a way that it wouldn't be possible for anyone to make out what was happening there and held her hand which was resting on the desk. Swati had definitely not expected him to act on her complaint so promptly and was a little scared and startled! Munna offered her the chocolate again with the other hand, which a blushing Swati now accepted with a sweet and content smile playing on her lips.
Munna thinking to himself: Yaar Sameer maana padega.. tu toh such much Love Guru nikla..
Just about then the school bell rang marking the start of the break. Swati quickly stood up and pulled her hand away and headed towards her and Naina's desk still smiling. Munna headed towards the class exit where his friends were. The boys then headed to the school canteen.
As soon as they entered the canteen Munna announced to Sameer: Yaar aaj main tujhe Samosa aur Cold drink peelayunga.
Sammer: Kiss khushi mein?
Munna: Guru dakshina jo deni hai..
Sameer: Guru dakshina?? Wo ku?
Munna just smiled: Bus aaise hi.. aaj maan bohoot khush hai! (after all not all is to be shared even with your closest friends)
Pandit laughing: Bhai iss chenu se kuch mil raha hai toh koi bhi sawal kiye bina le lo.. isse pehele ke yeh aapni baat se muah pher le
On another table where the girls were sitting, Naina remarked to Swati: Kya baat hai Swati aaj toh tera chehra ekdum khil gaya hai? Lagta hai Munna se teri narrazgi khatam ho gayi.. aaj phir ussne tera favourite chocolate diya hai kya?
Swati blushed and said: Ha wo bhi..
