Why will diya wear modern dress?

So what's u theories for Diya wearing Modern dress??

On this trip both DIRA are trying to do as many things as possible to please the other person even if they dont feel like doing it they are doing it...so may be Ratan wants Diya to accompany her in a night club in western dress so Diya wears it for Ratan's happiness.
