Hina Khan Lost Out In The Good Bahu VS The Vamp Battle On Bigg Boss'

Will it be Shilpa Shinde or will it be Hina Khan? That was the question that was on everyone's minds in the last few weeks of Bigg Boss. We may have had other favourite contestants but, in the end, we all knew that it would boil down to these two. The way their journey played out, it was classic soap opera drama. There was a good bahu and a vamp and the two argued and made up and argued again till they reached the grand finale. Both had their own dedicated set of supporters, and Twitter wars were not uncommon after each episode of Bigg Boss. In the end it was the ideal bahu who won the trophy, and while we are happy with the win, there is one question that is begging to be asked. Why not Hina?

No, hear us out. We get that Hina ended up being way more negative than Shilpa ever was. Like Vikas Gupta stated in an interview with us, Hina's biggest drawback was that she was highly opinionated and that did not fit in with the Indian bahu image at all. In fact, after eight years of playing Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, seeing Hina have her own opinion, ready to go to war to prove a point, was too shocking for viewers to handle. We wanted sanskaar not opinions!

At the end of the day Hina did get a little too dirty while playing the game; however, you cannot deny the fact that Shilpa played the game too - she was just smarter! Shilpa was the ideal bhaartiya naari who cooked and cleaned and took care of the TV family, but she also battled evil forces and managed to always end up as the brave victim in a house filled with villains. Her journey had the perfect amount of drama, where she was continuously wronged and she bravely fought her way out of it. We applauded when Vikas came to her with an apology or when Hina and she finally became friends. Hina might be crying and being dramatic right in your face, but Shilpa was doing it better - you just did not realise that it was drama.

One bonus point for Shilpa was that despite playing dirty she also knew how to play on Indian emotions. She cooked, she cried in corners and never in front of people, and she would rather be misunderstood than go out there and stand up for herself. Perfect sanskari bahu FTW! In the end, much like the tried-and-tested Bollywood formula, the good won over evil and Shilpa walked away with the trophy. They both played a good, well-thought-out game, and they both equally deserved the trophy. However, tough luck for Hina, because this is Indian television and we will always chose sanskaar over a girl with an opinion!

well, the "bahu" that won is more close to saas age.
Hina kudh ke liye stand li and did not act helpless.
so Hina is more like a modern strong woman and not a vamp.

I don't understand why these articles want to hide Hina's wrongdoings under the word "opinionated. I see Hina's PR on damage control spree. Having your own opinion and having positive and right opinion and fighting for what is right and knowing when to give up gracefully is opinionated and Hina Khan was none of that. I remember Urvashi and how opinionated she was but how positive that came out because of her excellent gameplay and decisions. Hina Khan was none of that.

What is right and wrong varies depending on person to person.
For you she may be of wrong opinion. For me, she had the right opinions.

She is a number one lair, says plain lie ( in fort of the host , media etc etc ) and acts as if she don't remember at all ...😲  I never know telling lie is otherwise known as '' kudh kay leyeh stand lena'' ðŸ˜†

Whatever Hina did on the show which turn out to be negative or possibly purposely shown negative by editing was not the issue.

The issue was her outright denial made her look weak and lose the game.
If she would have stood her ground and given justification for her every action that was shown negative she would still look like winner, even if she did not win.
By denying her actions, Hina looked like a liar.

Vikas did that. He owned his actions. He either apologize or justified his every action. This made him look better than Hina and Shilpa both.

Sad part, he did not come with vote bank and build his fandoms in 3 months short period. It was very unfair competition for Vikas.

Agree 100%...

the trio of - HinA, Priyank and Luv did not look negative when they fought with HM's . They looked negative when they were either denying their acts or unable to give proper justification to their actions.

They did not look negative when they bitched about HM's, they looked bad when they #bodyshamed, #s**tshamed somebody.. this is where this trio went wrong.
