Leaked : Alia And Ranveer's Pics From Zoya Akhtar's Next Film Gully Bo

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will be seen sharing screen space in Zoya Akhtars next film, Gully Boy. We had been well abreast with all the buzz related to the film and to say that we had been waiting for the film to start rolling wouldn't be a lie. The film went on floors yesterday and earlier in the day we informed you how the talented actress has been reaching as early as 6 am in the morning to get ready for the shoot. Today, on the second day of the film, the first look of both the actors, Ranveer and Alia got leaked and we are now excited more than ever before.

While Ranveer's look from the film will take you back to his Band Baaja Baraat and Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl days, Alia looks as if she is essaying the role of a simple, young Muslim girl from the pics. It is almost impossible to imagine that the guy in the pics is the same person who's also essaying the role of Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, Padmaavat (initially known as Padmavati). Alia, on the other hand, has been proving her mettle with every role and this film seems to be no different. This will be the second unglamorous and performance driven role she will be playing after Meghna Gulzaar's Raazi. They both look quite unrecognisable in the first glance. Gully boy is a coming of age film of a street rappers. Ranveer has been prepping for the film with Kunal Pandagle aka Kaaam Bhaari and Nitin Mishra aka Divine who will also be giving the music for the film. Recently a video of Ranveer rapping the title track of the film was shared by YRF on their Twitter page before deleting it soon enough. Those who got a glimpse of the actor rapping said that he absolutely nailed it.  We definitely cannot wait to see and hear him rap. Alia's role in the film is however still a mystery. However, if their on screen camaraderie in the Make My Trip commercial ads are anything to go by, we are assured that they will be nothing short of exceptional in Zoya's upcoming filma filmmaker who is known to bring out the best in her actors.
