DOTW: Sequel anyone?

Hey all,

Thanks to all those who participated in our last DOTW: Remakes vs Originals! We are back w/a new topic for this week & this time it is the topic of Sequels!

There have been many sequels made to Bollywood movies:

Phir Hera Pheri (Hera Pheri) & also Phir Phir Phir Hera Pheri to be made 😆 Dhoom 2 (Dhoom) Krrish (Koi Mil Gaya)
• Lage Raho Munnabhai....(this can be called a prequel)

So this time we ask what is your opinion - should sequels to movies be made?🤔

Should prequels (e.g. Lage Raho Munnabhai) be made?

i think lage raho munna bhai should have a 3rd part..i loved that moviee..itz was awesomeeeeeeee...so funnyy 😆

According to me a sequel to phir hera pheri is needed 👏 👏

Sequels if being madewith same vigour and zest then are welcome, but to just encash success story of the film is not worth it.
Also, as you said, LAge raho is more prequel, i differ a bit, infact its a perfect sequel, as a bhai turning in to GANDHIGIRI is more exceptable and likable then the otherway round.

I think sequels should be made on the policy of demand n supply. If the public wants den..2ndly many of the sequels fail to have the magic of the old one, or end up being like the 1st one, or there is no logic behind them.. That shouldnt happen. If the director and the producer think they can carry off a sequel with a good story line and logic then it should be made.

Out of all the sequels made i liked Dhoom 2 the best... N i think sequels of Bunty babli, Mujhse shaadi karooge, maine pyar kyun kiya and Neal n Nikki should be made.. Not only because these movies rocked but they were left at that point where they could be continued!! 😳
