Rasgulla: Best to order them off Netporter or a certified online store. Google second-hand stores if you've no problem with buying second hand shoes. Splurging is always an option too, lol.

10k for Aldo & C & K, yes. Steve Madden goes anywhere from 6-15k. Ralph Lauren, Michael Kora heels on sale, go for anywhere from 10-20K. I once saw a pair of Marli/Bally/D & G heels and I so wanted to run away with my friends heels. 😔 They were *beautiful*


The non-descript, low-key luxury brands are always better, IMO. Like Marli, Bally etc.


Or actual shoe designers like Louboutin & Stuart Weitzman etc., nothing like finding an actual Italian leather goods maker & custom-making shoes. Not AS expensive either.. If we don't include the cost of India-Italy air-fare. 😆

I would get the earrings, Rasgulla. Buying good quality shoes is not only feeding the consumerist in us, but we live in our shoes so it's actually a practical decision. But still I would get the earrings b/c I am a sucker for jewellery!!
