Hey Guys...so i'm an avid fan of Barun Sobti and IPK3. After reading about everyone's reaction to the jump scene and its comparison to the opening scene with the idol pulling, I just wanted to see how many actually liked the Idol pulling scene?

I, for one, kinda really liked it since I haven't watched Baahubali yet so didn't have an idea that it was related to some scene from there. To me, it looked really cool since that scene went very well with Barun's previous looks and the way i see it, it was done so that the main antagonists would never underestimate him later. In previous shows, the main leads meet each other in an impactful way but this show is different since its revenge themed so the first time, Indrani and her clans see Advay...it had to be really impactful, hence the idol pulling scene.

Also, I just binge watched all the episodes and to be honest, I kinda liked the way the episodes flowed with each other. I think the first few episodes were actually really good. Yeah, there were a couple of tiny flaws but what shows dont have them.

Anyhow, let me know what you guys think..

I won't say I loved idol pulling scene but I was fine it!
As you Said it gave dramatic introduction of hero to other characters of show!

Loved the idol scene!! Loving the designer clothes and accessories ,barun's harem under blazer etc !! But afraid as now the makers are going simple with clothes making the show mediocre :(

Yeah I liked the scene, and I think that scene was actually well executed with Barun's expressions while pulling and trying to keep it away from falling, this is actually a symbolic message for the strength of willpower also,like SP had posted it on FB... Any many are making fun of it, which is pissing me off.. Advay did not pull it up single handedly, the other workers along with Veer helped him in pulling the statue ...and since its a TV show, there has be some masala and drama added in every scenes...

Ikr? it's really pissing me off that a lot of people were unhappy with it. Honestly, when i rewatched the episodes, I loved the way the first few episodes flowed. Esp. the Aaja ve maahi song sequence as well. It was so beautifully shot where Barun was walking through the flower petals and Chandini is getting the pooja done or whatever. I was scrolling through some old posts and was surprised that people thought it was weird. Anyhow, I guess to each their own.

The problem is many people compared to the season 1 and didn't like it. Also I will say this - Season 1 also had lot of flaws in it logic wise but many people joined the show midway and binge watched the beginning or just watched the leads scenes. When you binge watch the scenes the show looks real awesome but if you watch it daily you have so many points to dissect.

I love the show too and had loved this scene
IT showed that he was a strong person
He made the calculations as to how to pull the idol
So he knew how much force to apply on the rope

I too loved the first week characterization of the leads especially Barun's. Not liking how they're toning down everything now including the characterization and look of the leads. I actually loved Chandni sarees and Barun's beard look. Why they have to drastically change everything?
