Dev Chandni were childhood friends
Dev family were the Mahants ( priest family )
Chandni mom Indrani had conspired against them
She had got some black magic staff planted in the house
She also made some one keep fake coins at the house
All thise staff were discovered later and people hated them
Chandni told people that Dev mom was a witch
And that his mom was flying in the air

He does not know Indrani involvement yet
Dev dad was stabbed to death and mom was burned alive
All this on the basis of what Chandni had told
Then he was hiding somewhere Chandni gave away that place too
He had a brother in his arms and he threw him

Once a boy named Dev had a hormonal growth spurt at the age of 14, he was friends with a little 8 year old girl named Chandni. He was going to have a major crush on this girl once she hits puberty. But all his dreams were crushed bcos of some conspiracy murder mystery. 16 years later he is still very angry that he was robbed of his puppy love story ( and mureder and all that too). As an ironical twist of fate , that little girl was the reason why everything was messed up.
