Investors are at the dinner table and about to start eating when one of them discovers a rat in the basket having bread. All of them are shocked and start screaming. Shaurya rushes to catch the rat. He picks the rat up and asks servant to throw it out. Nikita spots another rat near her feet and she screams. Meanwhile in the commotion, Mahek loses her balance. Shaurya holds her and says are you watching this? The investors are furious and tell Shaurya that they are going to sue him rather than invest in his company. Mahek tries to calm them but another female investor fumes on Mahek saying that if this is how she feels, all her awards deserved to be taken away from her. All the investors walk off. But right then media arrives. They surround Mahek and grill her about the incident? Mahek feels humiliated. Shaurya is furious and corners the media person. Right then an official from the Food Inspection comes and asks Shaurya and Mahek to come with him to the head office.
At the inspection office, the Senior official asks Shaurya to sign certain documents. He refuses saying Mahek will only sign when his lawyer arrives. The senior official gets up to leave. Shaurya fumes on him but Mahek intervenes asking him if he cant remain calm ever. Shaurya fumes on her saying it was a big mistake to bring her back in his life and transfer the property on Maheks name. Shaurya blames Mahek who calmly says she accepts her mistake that she did not check the final arrangements but its not possible that the rats came in one day. Right then Nikita arrives with lawyer. She shares that the investors are backing out. Lawyer suggests alternate solution telling Shaurya to transfer White Chilies in Nikita's name which will amount to a change in management. He says he has the papers ready and all they need is Maheks signature. Shaurya agrees with the idea immediately. Nikita expresses her disagreement saying she only came for the contest and not for such a long time to manage a company. However Shaurya insists. He asks Mahek to sign the papers. But Mahek refuses. She reasons that Nikita cant be dragged into this else she will get hassled by constant media grilling and investors chasing her around. Nikita appreciates Maheks suggestion and tells Shaurya that Mahek is his heart and head.
Nikita gets a call and excuses herself. She is furious and shares that her plan was about to succeed when Mahek interrupted. She assures that Shaurya-Mahek do not suspect a thing. She is walking outside and shares on phone how she fell in love with Shaurya and had proposed him but he declined to get married saying marriage was not for him. Flashback shown of Nikita placing rats in the White Chilies kitchen. She continues talking on phone saying, How she consoled herself and moved ahead in life but one fine day Shaurya called her asking her to be part of a contest and shared about his wife. She says how she was heartbroken to find out Shaurya changed his mind about marriage. She says she came to see what was so great about Mahek. She rues that Shaurya doesnt even remember breaking her heart but now her and 'the person on the phone', both their revenge will be complete. As soon as she cuts the call someone pulls her aside. Nikita is surprised seeing him and says why here? Din trust me? She assures soon her revenge will be complete. She says she has nothing against Mahek but she has to pay the price for being Shauryas wife.
A while later, Shaurya and lawyer are outside the Head Office. Lawyer tells Shaurya he needs to anchor himself before the storm drowns him. Lawyer says he had a good suggestion of property transfer but that also Shaurya din agree. He says now Shaurya needs to get fumigation done and pay fines. Shaurya declines but Mahek agrees to the proposal. Shaurya says if they agree to pay fines, it would damage the reputation of White Chilies. Mahek agrees but says they have no other way. She still refuses to transfer the property on Nikitas name saying if they do so, it amounts to them abandoning the ship. Mahek then tells Shaurya she has an idea and needs his help. She shares her idea with him.
At the Sharma house, Ravi and Jeevan arrive with sweets sharing the good news that they have found a job. All are relieved to hear that. They ask Nehal to inform Mahek about the development. When Nehal calls Mahek and then Vivek, their phones go unanswered.
Shaurya and Mahek are at the restaurant. Shaurya warns Mahek of consequences in case her plan flops. Right then Media arrives. Mahek tells Shaurya they cant sit back coz of the fear of failing. Mahek tells Shaurya they have always blamed each other for each others misery. She cites Kanta's advice and Shaurya says nice to refer to Kantas suggestion everytime we are in trouble. Mahek says a businessman once told her that to get out of a situation we have to spill our blood and mend it as well. But now he is ignoring his own advice. Mahek goes to the dais. Shaurya grumbles that Mahek is giving him his own advice.
At Sharma house, Mohit comes in the drawing room with his mother in law. Ravi and Jeevan rejoice about their job and offer sweets to the family members. Mohits mom in law thinks that the job they are so happy about will be a test. Mohit gets a call and is shocked to hear something.
Precap -- Journalist inquires how Mahek can be sure that all this is someones plan? He says that marrying a businessman doesnt make her eligible to run a business. Shaurya is furious and announces that Mahek did not lose but he beat her with the power of his money & influence. Mahek is shocked.
