Few days passed since that horrible accident & Mukhi has recoverd now, thanks to Aru's constant care for him.
Mukhi thinks "kal aakhir woh din aa jaayega jab dafford chali jaayegi mera ghar phir se suna ho jaayega"
Aru brings food for Mukhi.
Aru "Ye lijiye Mukhiji khana".
Mukhi "tune kyun takleef ki mastana la deta"
Aru "are takleef ki kya baat hai, Kal toh mujhe jana hi hai"
Mukhi "tune khana khaya"
Aru "Are nahi woh main phone pe mummy pappa se baatein kar rahi thi"
Mukhi gets call from Mishri. Mukhi says its Mishri's call. Aru grins & asks him to put phone on speaker. Mishri says "bhayla tune khana khaya ki nahi"
Mukhi "are woh Aru leke aayi abhi kha lunga"
Mishri "Tu na! Aur Aru ne khana khaya ki nahi"
Aru "Mishri main kha lungi
Mishri " Tujhe bhyla ka khayal rakhna hai par apna bhi khayal rakha kar" "Ek kaam karo tum dono na aaj ek hi plate se khana khaana mil baat ke isse pyaar bhi badhega"
Aru & Mukhi look at each other.
Mishri "Arey tum dono chup kyun ho gaye?"
ArMu look at phone ...Mishri "Aise hi khana jaise laddu mil baat ke khaaye the"
Mukhi looks at Aru & Aru seepishly smiles at him.
Mukh thinksi "Saare laddu toh khud khaaye mil baat ke aur yeh? huh"
Aru "Dukhi Mukhi mujhe pata hai kya soch rahe hoge"
Aru "Arey Mishri ladduwon ki chhod tu aur Deep kaise hai"
Mishri "Humlog bilkul theek hai" "main bas yehi chahti hoon ki tum dono hamesha saath raho"
Mukhi thinks "Saath ..kaash aisa hota dhingli".
Mishri "Achha bhayla ab rakhti hun phone"
Mukhi "Woh Dhingli ne bola na ek plate se khane ko chal aaja kha le aaj mere saath"
Aru slowly walks towards him & sits on bed. Aru forward her hand to take a bite.
Mukhi says "Ab mere plate se kha rahi hai toh mere haath se bhi kha le" .
Aru smiles "Agar aisa hai toh aapko bhi aaj mere haath se khana hoga" .Mukhi nods.They start feeding each other.
Mukhi & Aru both reacall time spent with each other..Still lost in daffod's thought he feeds her chillie.
Aru comes out of her thoughts & feels her mouth on fire bcoz of chillie.. "yeh kya kar diya aapne mujhe mirchi khila di?"
Mukhi thoughts breaks.He says "Maaf kar Gourani woh main kuchh soch raha tha" He gives her water to drink.Aru drinks water.
Aru "Kya soch rahe the?"
Mukhi "tere saath bityaae palon ke baare mein" at Mukhi's words Aru again feels those strange feelings surfacing which she couldnt understand even now.While taking back glass from her hand their fingers brush.Mukhi feels strange spark in his heart.He takes the glass & set it on table. He sees Aru still doing suffering bcoz of spiceness of chille. He breaks a small piece of jaggery on plate.
Mukhi "Ise kha le theek rahega".He feeds her jaggery.
Aru lost in herself bites his finger.Mukhi quicky pulls his hand back
Mukhi" Hey Gourani ab tera dhyaan kidhar hai?"
Aru "Aap mere baare mein soch rahe the na ?"
Mukhi "Kal tu sahi mein chali jaayegi ne".Aru puts plate on table.
Aru "Haan jana toh padega ..apne sapne jo pure karne hai" "pichhli baar Chammo se kaha tha ki mujhe iss gaon ki, uski bahut yaad aayegi aapki bhi aaj aapke saamne kehti hun aapki bahut aayegi"
Mukhi gets emotional.He smiles at her "Zaroori nahi ki main hi Ahemdabaad aaun aur tujhse milun tu bhi yahan aa sakti hai kabhi bhi ise apna hi ghar samjhna"
Aru gets teary eyed.She tightly hugs Mukhi.
Aru "Mukhiji maine Chammo se yeh bhi kaha tha ki aap bahut pyaare insaan ho"
Mukhi feels happy hearing it. He thinks "Gourani pyaari toh tu bhi hai kaise kahun tujhse main chahta hun tu yahan ruk jaaye" He hugs her back wanting to console her.Both of them stay like that for few moments.
Just silence.
Aru listens his hearbeat. She looks up at him.He slowly pulls her away from him.
Aru "Shukriya har us waqt ke liye jab aapne mujhe bachaya aur mera saath diya"
Mukhi "Isme shukriya kaisa Gourani ?"
He wipes her tears.He feels himself pull towards her. He cups her cheeks & kisses her forehead.
Aru gets surprised by this. He brushes her nose.
Mukhi "Jaa unchi udaan bhar aur apne sapno ke badal mein ghar bana"
Aru whispers "ghar?" she recalls what he said just few minutes ago that this is like her home & she can come whenever she wants to.
Mukhi "Main yeh plate rakh ke aata hun tu so ja".
Aru recalls how Mukhi kissed her forehead she blushes.
Few mins later Mukhi enters into room & finds Aru still awake on sofa..
Mukhi "Kya hua sona nahi hai aaj" .
Aru "goodnight Mukhji"
Mukhi "Haann Shubhratri" He lies on bed. Both smilingly look at each other before Aru closes her eyes.
Mukhi too closes his eyes and tries to sleep but he tosses & turns on bed. He recalls how Aru called him Dukhi Mukhi many times & how just now his Gourani said he is a lovely person.
He smiles thinking about that...
Finally he falls asleep.
