Star Plus' Mere Angne Mein received a lot of positive response from viewers initialy when it debuted two years ago. But it seems, with the storyline, the interest of viewers in the show too has died down. Well,  here's some no so good news for the fans of the show. If reports are to be believed, Mere Angne Mein is all set to go off air in July.

If reports are to be believed, the show will finally bid adieu in the last week of July. This year itself,  Ananya Khare and Ekta Kaul, two primary actors quit the show owing to various reasons. Apparently,  a new show, 'Chakravyuh' will replace it which stars Sangeeta Ghosh and Narayani Shastri in the lead.

The show launched on June 15, 2015, with much pomp and drama and later on went on to become the favourite family show on Indian television. The show has won the hearts of the audience with its fascinating characters like Ammaji, who has been carrying the legacy of a Matriarch in the family. While Ananya is seen on another show, Ekta apparently has great plans for her personal life. Riya aka Ekta was shown killed while the time of conceiving her baby. Ekta rose to fame with her Zee TV show Rab Se Sona Ishq. Will you miss the show?

Star Plus' Mere Angne Mein all set to go off air in July created a lot of buzz. But while the fans were already sulking and finding it hard to believe this news, the actors of the show were surprised to read about  this development.

While talking to a daily, Ammaji aka Krutika Desai shrugged the news calling it to be baseless rumours. She said, ""Not at all. Who is saying that my show is going off air? At least we have not been informed about it. And it is not possible because our contracts were renewed recently. So, it is not even a remote possibility that the show is going off air." The show was to finally bid adieu in the last week of July.
