I dunno how I watched. The screen was blurring so much I had to pause so many times.
Annika spouted angry words today, caused a big fight in front of the family , tried to bring the brothers bond in between also. Shivaay is very angry , I'm assuming he spoke with OmRu and sweetly they both have gone to talk with her as their brother broods in his room.
No anger, no irritation, they wonder why as they speak , she won't meet their eyes.
Remember , these guys know how much their Bhabhi loves Shivaay. They saw her begging to stay by Shivaay after he was shot. They saw how she wept for his wellbeing , how she was kicked out by Chote Ma, how she hid under a food trolley just to see him one more time.
They also saw how Shivaay was beside himself because Annika wasn't there. They had to physically restrain him because he was going to go after her. And how he felt better only after Annika came back to see him.
Om gently pushes her for the truth, he wasn't buying her fake bitchy look. This is Bhabhi who spoke up for Shivaay to his family. The one who watches with an indulgent smile as the brothers cook and dance.
"I have been noticing you being upset since that day I picked you up from Goodluck Chawl, you're not yourself, tell us what it is."
Rudra, takes her hand and puts it on his head. "Tell me what you said, is the truth" . She pulls away ,teary eyed. Rudra immediately sees pain in her eyes, and presses her for the details.
[Rudra and Annika share a bond so loving, she's almost like his mom. I'm telling you , she'd never hurt them. these 3 have a bond so pure, if I were Shivaay , I'd be slightly jealous. ]
She weeps in front of them, failing to keep her facade. She needs them to know,because Shivaay is surrounded by threats, she needs them to have his back when she's gone. She makes them vow never to tell anyone , the alarm in OmRu's faces heightened.
As her voice falters , their anxiety increased. When they learn what it is , their shock opened tear floodgates for me. Rudra was gasping with holding back his grief.
"Shivaay is Shakti Oberoi's son, but not by Pinky. His mother is Kamini, and he has a twin , Mahi"
(do watch again and observe his reactions, Leenesh was stellar today. i was watching him and Surbhi ace this scene today, like the hospital scene before. Beautiful!)
Om steps up to be the stronger one. "Someone has played a cruel joke with you. Pls don't repeat this again in this house. Imagine what Chote Ma will feel."
"She's the one who told me !!!"
Om is stunned, (they should've added context here) but he doesn't miss a heartbeat.
"Fine, whatever it is, he's still my brother. Our bond is stronger than blood, it's bound by Love and trust. nothing can break it !"
He drags the weeping Rudra, wipes his tears and chuffs his arm. Rudra is weeping for the pain Shivaay will feel. He is ready to break kasam already.
"Before somebody else tells him , I'm gonna tell him first." he says. His instinct is right. They shouldn't have hid this from him. Om tries to reason with Annika, because now he is bound by the promise he gave her. They don't agree with her method of dealing with this.
"This secret will come out! Just a matter of time. We'll be there for him, together. We can help him through this!"
(I Love OmRu's instinctual response to the secret. their first response was to tell truth immediately. When things get hairy, they will not hesitate to break the kasam. Especially when she is being tortured by Shivaay later. )
Annika pleads at their feet and they understand her panic. For Shivaay, NKK is his existence, not a stubborn habit. "Don't take his pride away , please! He won't be able to take it."
For now , OmRu are convinced she is right. But she asks for one last help from them. (help to get herself kicked out)
I'm assuming she explains why she is doing this , in flashback they will show us how she explained all the things Pinky has done to bring Annika to this step. Because only then OmRu's cooperation makes sense.
She walks to Shivaay's room. She wants to make her last night memorable, to keep the memories of him forever. She finds him angry, poured out a glass of champagne to drink.
His face is drawn, upset at her behaviour. He tells her "I'm very angry with you. This is so not you, I don't know why you're doing this."
She runs and hugs him right from behind, crying. She says sorry, and just like that ...poof!.. His anger evaporates. Just like hers did in the pool last week.
(gives me good vibes. He can't stay mad at her for long. one small sign and he'll crack and melt)
He turns to her, and she touches his face , as though memorizing it. She tenderly cups his face and brushes his temples, like he is the most precious thing in the world to her.
He watches her face, wondering what is it that's making her so emotional.
"Whats bothering you Annika? Do you need something? Do you want something? Tell me what.."
"All is want it you. My Bhagad Billa. My Tadibaaz. Just you." He turns as emotional as her.
"All is want is you too, Mere Annika"
(I'm dead here. these two have done so many alternate variants to the conventional "I Love You" , I'm reeling with a thought. Does the exact words matter?)
She is very emotional, and he kisses her eyes, one by one. Then her cheeks. She turns away and he stops her, planting another on her shoulder.
(it's beautiful. first night should be like this. Loving, beautiful , unplanned , just lots of loving and sharing.)
But when he went to dim the lights (door was open mind you) she chugged down his glass of champagne.
Ok first night out the window. She's going to sleep soon, first night is to be savored (by Shivaay's logic ) together. She gets tipsy very quickly and he is back to caring husband.
"Are you ok?"
"you're asking me as though I took poison"
"Stop this dark jokes. it's not funny.."
so you do realize Annika's jokes have taken a morbid tone lately , Shivaay? Good , all those badams will come in handy when truth sinks in.
She is tipsy and chatty, wants to keep no secrets from him. He patiently waits for the "zaroori baat" that never comes...
Precap: Shivaay is discussing with the family, how he wants to erase the bad memory if his wedding to Annika , and replace it with good memories.
he's planning a surprise remarriage. Jhanvi and Dadi are thrilled for him , strangely Shakti and Pinky are not at all. Wonder why Shakti is looking annoyed too.
