7 reasons why isqbaaz &dbo mahasangam topped trp charts -IF

For starters, we finally saw the trio of Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) - Om (Kunal Kulbhushan Jiasingh) - Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo) together on a single screen. Ever since the spin off to Ishqbaaaz, Dil Boley Oberoi came into existence we've only witnessed bits and pieces of the brothers. But, the Oberoi Special indeed turned out to be special.

To add to the brotherly love seen on the screen, we saw the duo of Shivaay - Anika (Surbhi Chandna) and Om - Gauri (Shrenu Parikh) being officially engaged (Official for the latter). And of course, we can't miss out on all the glamour that prevailed in these episodes.

And, the mahasangam saw the entry of Rudra's newly found love, Bhavya (Mansi Srivastava). The week saw a lot of mystery around her character in the show, and now, we'll see what will finally transpire as the week progresses.

Admit it or not, we all were bored of how typical a villain Swetlana played in the show. And the past week saw Pinky as the villainous mother-in-law.

The week also saw a tad bit of what the show does the best. ShivIka's romance, Om and Gauri's tashan, and Ranveer turning into the obesessive lover for Priyanka.

This was one of the sweetest parts about the Oberoi special. How fast did the viewers see their favourites from both the shows gel with each other so quick.


And, of course so much happened that we might as well need to actually sit down and make a list. Pinky's dirty side was unveiled, Sahil returned to the Oberoi House, Ranveer returned to marry Priyanka, the Oberoi's finally know about Om's marriage and, the increasing distance between Shivaay and Anika.

Now, what will be interesting to watch is how this week does on the charts because of what was left unfulfilled last week.
