Guys, want to know what you all think of the other chauvinism rampant in Desi-sopaps, ie Ma and Patni chauvinism.😆

"Ma hon mai.I'm always right.I know what's good for my son/daughter".

"Patni kabhi galat nahi ho sakti"- heard it other shows multiple times.

They annoy me as much as any husband/Dada/Pappa proclaiming, "I'm a man and I'm right".

Personally, I feel it's wrong to put anyone on pedestal so high that they start acting like Gods.
By eod, regardless of the roles people play they are people with human follies.

Coming to ShitAl2 exhibiting this annoying trait now, she has some cheek after seeing how bad her choices of grooms and the other decision she forced on Mehak had been in the past.

yes TV mommy's and TV Patni's are equally chauvinist ...just like male lead

but as per Indian TV tradition it won't called as chauvinist its perfectionist or Goddess or some time bichari mask to hide these traits 😈

yah All Indian TV show ladies like this but they never been corrected but gets worshiped for their antics

Almost everyone is same yaar ...and tats wat the reason I'm hooked to this show...

No trolling and no high voltage drama btwn saas bahu is shown ...

And hopefully it I'll not be in future ...

Thou shruti and Svetlana tried to change the genre once 😆

But KC forcing mehak is still undigestable ...

You've brought a very poignant 'issue ' that is rampant, not only on TV but unfortunately in some parts of our society 👏

Agree👍🏼, mostly voices,opinions are gagged,being subservient is equated with being pure,innocent & highly valued .This is hyped & the power of choice is mostly shown with the' powerful ' member, not necessarily the most intelligent, like PD in Sharma family .It's a stereo typical image few could break free from,yet here we've seen few times the children of Sharma family opening their mouth and opposing, so has Shaurya done repeatedly & proudly at Khanna residence 😆though lesser said about Sheetal, Kanta (of late)the better, like Shaurya from Friday's episode, they too are suffering from verbal diarrhoea🤢 😆

U know becoz of LU I dint see the epi properly on Friday ..

Just know saw on repeat ...

KC from the beginning is forcing mehak to get married !!...knowing that she doesn't wants it now ...even mehak opposed her in front of the family members ..

I dint understand y did she say " my Chachi loves me ...whatever she is doing ..its for my happiness sake ". ?!?!?!??while she was on phone convo with shaurie ...😕

I men cum on...u dint want to get married to anyone tats y , u called shaurya ...and she was even happy to see him wen he arrived...but y trying to ignore and avoid shaurya now ?!?!??

I see ther is a HELL lot of difference between

KC who felt bad for sonal wen sheetal was dragging her to get married with rohit ...she was the one who told sheetal to stop her idiocy of ruining her daughters life

And the kc who trying to get Mehak married with sandy with out her will , by claiming tat she is mehaks her mother !!

Like seriously ?!?!?!!?!

@Thabs,Nitya- Yelling " ma hoon mai" gives tV mummies power and authority by default.

Kanta's track record for motherhood is absymal, she's using the emotional advantage she has by suddenly elevating herself to Ma and bringing up the dead Bhabhi handing Mehak to her.

My wicked mind wonders since she was the one with Meera Shrama when she died, did she kill her?
