according to some people, dev was right in telling jatin to leave because for him this was about his daughter,his daughter's mother and her family and he was not needed there.
according to some( i was one of these), dev was jealous and that's why he asked jatin to leave.
But something else came to my mind,though am sure dev was jealous and deliberately said that(he spoke everything in front of the mondols only then why suddenly he wanted jatin to leave) but besides that ,i think dev was doing what he knows happens in his own family.
Dixits doesn't allow any outsiders in their family matters.dev and ishwari take decisions and everyone follows.nobody is allowed to give their own viewpoints because everything happens as per ishwari wishes.Thats why when dev came and was standing at the door he says to sonakshi that bejoy is elder member of the house so how can she not tell her father about their arrangement.
just like that, according to dev, jatin is a family friend (just a friend) and not the part of the family so just like in his own house he assumed that same thing might be happening here too. but he was surprised (and did feel bad) when jatin answered him back with full authority and confidence as if its his own house and also bejoy supported him.he was surprised to see jatin having so much rights in the house even if he is just a friend.Even when dev was jealous seeing soha and jatin and asked sona about calling jatin to her house , sona tells him that she did not call him and jatin is a family friend so how can she stop him from coming whenever he wishes to,this doesn't happen in dixit house.there are rules for outsiders.
i want jatin to be used, to show dev, the difference between the Dixits and Boses rather making him negative.
