Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon were
one of the most loved couples of the 90s
both on-screen and off-screen. The two
actors appeared together in a series of films
like Mohra, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Keemat,
Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi among others. Not just
films, but the two stars went on to give us
some memorable chartbusters, which are a
hit even today with the masses.
Songs like Tip Tip Barsa Paani and Tu Cheeze
Badi Hai Mast Mast are a huge craze with the
audience. Today, a remixed version of Tu
Cheeze Badi Hai Mast Mast was unveiled
from the upcoming film Machine in presence
of Akshay Kumar.
The actor not only danced to the iconic
number and showed off his signature
moves but also got nostalgic and spoke
about his experience of working with
Raveena Tandon. When asked about it, he
said, "It was a great honour working with
her. We have done so many films together.
We have good songs. I still remember Tip
Tip Barsa is my favourite song. It is an
amazing song. We have done 4-5 films
together, so it has been an honour."
Incidentally, the actor even jokingly said that
Raveena is as young as Kiara when the latter
said she took blessings from the actress for
the recreated version of the song.
Akshay and Raveena last worked together in
Keemat that released in 1998. After that, the
stars parted ways on the personal front and
since then vowed not to share screen space.
Reportedly, both Akshay and Raveena were
rumoured to be dating each other for
almost three years and were even secretly
engaged. But due to Akshay's flamboyant
ways, the couple broke up.
