Post Bigg Boss 10, Karan Mehra to be back with a comedy show.

After his stint in Bigg Boss 10, Karan
Mehra will be back on TV in a comedy
show Khatmal-EIshque. A TV rom-com it
will have Karan playing a married man
working in a multi-national company, but
bored with his life. "It's the journey of his
life and his wife's. It's a situational comedy
that is realistic," says Karan, who will be
seen in a comedy show for the first time.
"I have done a bit of comedy when I was
doing theatre. But this is different. I have
been part of a show " Yeh Rishta Kya
Kehlata Hai for eight years and worked on
it for the longest hours and years that any
TV actor can do. I am trying to explore my
horizons. I found this interesting.
Producer-director Ashwini Dhir is a
prominent name in the comedy space and
he was keen that I do this serial.
Moreover, it's a finite story which
appealed to me," he elaborates.
Has he kept track of the happenings in
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai? "Not really, I
am over it. I have heard that lot of
changes have taken place, but I have no
clue what's happening. However, I
enjoyed being a part of it," he quips.
