Karan & Naina: A 'Store' of Riddles

Before I begin, can I just squeal in joy! THERE IS NO PAST ROMANTIC ANGLE!!! *does happy dance* Actually, they haven't confirmed yet but the way this is going, it doesn't seem to be. I have full hopes now. Cvs, begging you, ab mat kahin se conjure karna romantic angle. Please!!

Also, what was today man! How intense were NaiRan! To start with, Naina tries to clean up the store but Karan comes and messes it up again. He just can't take her anymore. He explains to her in both Hindi and English that his comfort shouldn't matter to him. What I love about their scenes is that Naina's reactions mirror his always. She was as angry as him and answered him back. What I think is that Naina only wants to see to his comfort right now out of general concern. However, soon we will get to the classic "mujhe farak padta hai kyunki..." No points for guessing what that kyunki will be.😉

Then comes another one of today's gems. Nirmala asks Karan what he is feeling and why he has not accepted this marriage, saying that none of it is Naina's fault. Karan retorts with a heartbreaking "Aur meri kya galti thi ma?" He goes on to say how everybody knows what his problem is but still accept him to be okay. "Sab aise dekhaate hain ki koi problem hai hi nahi." THIS. This seems to be the problem of his life. Nobody cares enough. 💔 But unknown to him, Naina has overheard all this. And she cares. She wants to know what the reason for his ghuttan is. And decides that she needs to be his friend. Go Naina! #TeamNainaFTW 🤣

So now Naina ji has decided that Karan can't sleep in the store so she comes up with an elaborate plan to steal masala from her own kitchen so that store room can be opened up. It was so unintentionally funny! 🤣 However, what was important was that in every situation, she always has Karan's back. She managed to give him a clue that Nirmala was coming into the store and this allowed him to hide. However, she didn't let him out of the hook completely by saying that the store should be cleaned. Karan was so annoyed! 😆

And now comes the moment. Naina enters her room and Karan uses his umbrella to push her against the shelf. Hats off cvs! Matlab I though we won't be able to get such scenes because Karan can't touch her par aapne to accha tareeka dhoond liya. Chhatta hai na. 🤣 What I loved about this scene was Karan's tone. I expected him to be angry but if you listen to him, he was simply humoring her and gently castigating her for her childish antics. This was so so beautiful! Its like he was indulging her whims and then telling her they were pointless because he has other options. As always, this shows that he has nothing against her personally. He genuinely wants her to leave for both his and her sake. I don't know, his tone and dialogues in the entire sequence really touched my heart. He is such a different character altogether! Also, NaiRan have some sizzling chemistry. The scene was electric! ❤️

While being in the store, Naina found the earrings and instantly connected them to Karan's dialogue of his problem. She does try to think that it could be someone else's but is not convinced. In the precap, she confronts Karan openly about wanting to meet the girl and Karan agrees. This gives me hope that a romantic angle is only Naina's misunderstanding and nothing else. Please aisa hi ho.

Also, I just love Naina's wadrobe. The orange and blue one I have been salivating over since yesterday and her yellow suit in the end today was also so beautiful! Simple, light and elegant!

I loved the scene between Karan-Nirmala wherein Karan finally, finally voiced out the damn problem! Everyone knows it but noone cares enough to bother with it - and then, ask him as if they are totally oblivious of his struggles. This family needs a serious reality check! 😆

The moment Naina found the earrings and the first thing that came to her mind was another girl in Karan's life - I knew that that won't be the case 🤣 I have two theories and both end up with Karan tricking Naina so that she would leave him, lol. First, the earrings might be something he's keeping with himself for someone else - for a friend or something, a secret of sorts. And when Naina asks and she, herself, indicates her theory, Karan seizes the chance in an attempt to get rid of her. Or, he placed the earrings deliberately where he sleeps, knowing that Naina knows the exact place, and hoping she'd find the earrings. And now, he's playing his game, tricking Naina into believing that he has a girl in his life that's why he cannot accept Naina as his wife 😆

But yes, the precap gave me the feels that he's fooling his wife - he did say he'd make her leave the house 🤣

Oh, and that chaata scene in the room - I found it amusing, tbh 😆 We learn the different uses of umbrellas in his show 😛

Chhata has become the most important aspect of NaiRan relationship. I swear when he pulled her with it, I couldn't stop laughing and had to compose myself to concentrate on the scene after that. 🤣
