*Pata nahi kya karahi hogi ye ladki leela muttered herself climbing the stairs*

Twinkle was immersed in her book.

"TWINKLE...Kya kar rahi ho puttar?"

Twinkle gets up ..closes her book and removes her glasses "kuch nahi ma.." she smiles back... placing the stuff in her hand on the table.

Twinkle:kya aunty aa Rahi hai?..wow mom..sab aayenge?Kon Kon aarahe hai?

Leela:manohar uncle ka transfer hogaya.woh sab phir Amritsar shit ho rahe hai...so...kal hi Amritsar aayenge..maine sab ko lunch pe invite Kiya

Twinkle smiled ear to ear...

Twinkle:ok ma. Mai sojati hu.aap bhi jaldi sojayiye.ok...?

Saying so twinkle literally pushed leela out if the room and locked it.

*Isse kya hua achanak?😕leela thinks *"beta sojana jaldi" she says and leaves to her room.

"HA MAA" twinkle replies

Twinkle rests her head on the door..."sab aarahe hai!" She says to herself excitedly.

"Usko main yaad toh rahungi na?...ya bool gaya hoga?"

She dims the light..goes to the balcony sits on the swing with cross legs and holds on to the pillow...lost in her own thoughts...

Leela and usha were best friends..dono families bhi bahut close the...kunj usha aur manohar ka beta hai... twinkle ko kunj bahut pasand tha... she used to gel well with sarnas .. especially mahi..kunj's sister . Par kunj se ..kabi utna baat nahi ki.. but kunj ..yuvi bahut ache dost the... yuvi twinkle ka bada bhai hai..10 years back ..when twinkle was  15 sarnas shifted to Mumbai...

Waqt guzarta Raha..15 saal beeth gaye...but twinkle abhi bhi kunj ko bahut pasand karti hai...pyaar...?..pata nahi...phase toh definitely nahi hai...15 saal phase toh nahi ho sakta hai...

"Kya woh kabi bhi mujeh notice Kiya?" She thinks to herself.getting up from the swing..she walks to the bed holding the pillow ...

"Pata nahi kal kya hoga.." she switches off the lights .

6:00AM

She wakes up early morning.dresses up in white Anarkali ..and goes to the kitchen...

"Kya banau ..Kya banau??"...

Yuvi: ramalai nahi hai?

Mahi: nahi sirf gulab jaamun hai

Yuvi: woh bhi chalega ..kunj tu kya kayega..

Kunj: kuch bhi ...

Yuvi: Mera puchne ka matlab ye hai...ki Tera fav sweet konsa hai

Kunj: gajar ha halwa..

Said a 9 year old kunj

 6 saal ki twinkle ko ye choti si baat yaad rehna ...aschrya ki baat hai...abhi twinkle 25 saal ki hai...roj subha baadam khane ka kamal⭐️😛

Phir kya...

Twinkel ne flashback mode se baahar aakar phata phat halwa banaya...

*par twinkle toh twinkle hai...saab kam itni aansani se ho...ye possible toh nahi hai!...*

Halwa serving bowl me nikal har ..garnish kar ke jab twinkle ne kitchen ki halat realize ki ...tab tak bahut der hochuki thi..

"TWINKLE!!!!...ye kya haal banadi kitchen ka" screamed pinni mami..

Pinni mami ki awaaj sunkar sab waha pahuchgay..

Pinni: o ji dekhiye na ...kal halat banadi kitchen ka"

Mamaji: pinni mujeh ye sunkar chakkar aa rahe hai ki twinkle itni jaldi uutgayi..

Bubli: upar se woh kitchen main aayi.🥱

Leela: twinkle teri tabiyat toh theek hai na puttar?😲

Yuvi comes yawning: kya hua maa..and suddenly stops in his track twinkle ne Khana banaya?😲aaj isse ho kya gaya hai?

Bubli: kyu di?..Kya special hai...hume bhi batao na😉

Twinkle: woh..woh..main toh bas usha aunty ke liye sweet dish bana rahi thi..

Bubli: aahan?..Sachi?.. believe karne ka mann nahi kar raha

Yuvi: Mujeh toh khane ki kushboo se hi muh mein pani aaraha hai.. reason kuch bhi ho chalega

Pinni: tujeh kyu nahi chalega ...khane ke kushboo se aage kuch dhikaye tab na... kitchen ka haal toh dekh

Bubli(scratching her head): Mummy khane ka kushboo dhikaye kaise deega?... kushboo toh smell karsakte hai na..

Yuvi bursts out laughing at this..

Yuvi: par Sach mein twinkle ...tu khana itna acha banati hai..tujeh na roz khana banana chahiye...

Leela:ab bas sab Bahar Jao... Aur fresh ho Jao...

"Bubli ki bachiii!!!!😡meri dress karab kardi !"

Meanwhile Usha Manohar  enter the house...

Mamaji:Arey welcome manohar ji...

Twinkle was shocked .He'll see her like this after 15 years?..no way!...

Usha: Arey twinkle ..kitni badi hogay ..bahut khoobsurat hogay twinkle ... saying so she pulled her cheeks.

Manohar:par beta kya halat banadi kudhka.

Twinkle: sorry woh bubli ne paint giradiya uncle..main bus abhi change karke aati hu...

"😆sorry di ..aap jakar change karlo.

Twinkle went to her room after shooting bubli with virtual bullet.

All keep talking 

Leela: usha mahi kunj kaha hai ?

Usha: woh dono bas aarahe hai...

Kunj: Kisi ne mujeh yaad kiya...?

Leela:kunj!!

Mahi and kunj come and greet everyone.

Leela: mahi puttar bahut pretty lag rahi ho.

Mahi: twinkle kaha hai aunty.

Bubli: woh na ..mahi di..mujeh se galti se paint girgaya twinkle di par...so woh Change karne gayi ..bas aati hi hongey.

Mahi: aur yuvi?

Someone taps mahi on right side of her shoulder.she looks to her right.and then taps on her left shoulder.she looks to left .and again right ..she looks left this time...but finds no one..

Mahi:yuvi bas!!

Yuvi: hihi sorry..

All start laughing.

Kunj hugs yuvi : kaisa hai yaar?..

In twinkle's room..I'm looking ok right?..*checks herself in mirror ...sighs and bas twinkle kya Kar rahi hai...?..tu twinkle hai... stop being like a girl who is in love... stops there...love?..arggg..bas..* goes and opens the door of her room ..but again goes back to mirror and to check herself.

Yuvi,kunj,mahi,bubli were in yuvi's room .. talking about random stuff..

Kunj: main bas abhi aata.

Mahi: with a smirk...kaha jaa rahe ho bhai?

Kunj: bas ek min...and leaves the room

Bubli : washroom toh iss room mein bhi hai na...kunj bhaiya kaha gaye?

Yuvi: laughs

Mahi and yuvi together say looking at each other: to meet her

Bubli: ohhh twinkle di!?

Yuvi : kya baat hai bubli ..smart hogayi bachiii 

Mahi just laughs 

...

Kunj: the room at the end near the balcony...hmm..umm...yaha se right aur 4 steps..

He was about to take 3rd step..and he felt someone move inside the door on his right..

He bends back ..with his hands in his pockets...and peeps into her room.

There she was...

Twinkle's back was facing him...

She was wearing a simple three fourth sleeved short white kurti with dark royal blue long skirt with  white varli border...her hair was long ... curled..she wore some silver bangles...and she straightened as if she knew that someone was seeing her.

She looked back and there was no one there..

Kunj sighed heavily resting his head on the wall outside the room...and left that place quickly..

Twinkle came down... running.

"Mahi"she exclaimed and hugged her...

Mahi: omg twinkle u are Looking like a doll ...

Twinkle: bas Kar ..tu bhi kya kam dikh rahi hai?sab nahi aaye...?she asked..

"Hai na ...mumma pappa aur mai ..yahi hai na"mahi replied knowing what she wanted to ask.

Kunj was about to come down and listening to the conversation happening he stayed back ..leaned against the pillar and saw what's happening downstairs.

"Mera Matlab...ishu"twinkle said

Mahi:ishu Nikki babhi kal aayenge .ishu ka school ka kuch problem hai.

Twinkle: Anand bhaiya?

Mahi: woh bhi unke sath aayenge

Twinkle: cherry bhaiya?

Mahi: woh Kisi  kaam se Mumbai mein rukh gaye...ek hafte mein aajaygenge.

Twinkle:tauji?

Mahi:woh bhi cherry bhaiya ke Saath aayenge.

Twinkle :aur...

Mahi: haa haa aur...pucho ..aur kiske baare mein janna chahtiho?

Twinkle: aur...aur be..be ..haan bebe nahi aayi?

Kunj was trying hard to control his laughter.

Infact yuvi and bubli ..manohar and mamaji also...

Mahi: oh bebe?...oh ishu ki Saath hi aana chahtithi...so isiliye rukh gaye..

Twinkle: aur...aur..ku..

Leela: puttar mujeh pehle se hi lag raha tha...teri tabiyat theek nahi hai kya?..itni rukh rukh ke kyu bol rahi hai?

Usha: haa beta kya hua?..

They both asked ...with sort of different smile 

Twinkle: huh..ma..woh.. aunty..wo

Pinni: uffo twinkle tunaa apne ye questionnaire baad mein complete karlena..chaliye sab lunch karte hai.

Mamaji: wah pinni ..kabhi toh kuch sahi kaha tumne...chalo sab...

Manohar😆: chaliye

Twinkle gets sad and starts climbing the stairs muttering something to herself.

..*she looks so cute...aur apne aap se baat karne ki aadat abhi tak nahi gayi?*thinks kunj

Twinkle didn't notice the step and was about to slip.

Kunj catches her left hand and prevents her from slipping . He pulls her . She knew who it was. She didn't want open her eyes. She was scared... actually nervous.

It was a different feeling. She wanted to see him. She didn't want to look at him at the same time.she didn't want her eyes to say anything else which she wasn't sure of...she didn't open her eyes.

"Twinkle" he said...in not so audible tone.

Yet she responded "hmm"

She didn't open her eyes he noticed.

She was looking very beautiful...

He closely observed her . She was effected he could see that. He slowly left her palm .she didn't open her eyes still. he tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears that was falling on her face. And slowly stepped back...and leaned on the pillar again with his hands in his pockets... smirking at her.

She looked down at her feet and slowly trailed her eyes from her feet to his which were at some distance...her eyes started going up from his brown shoes...faded jeans...white shirt...and stopped at his nose ..she didn't look into his eyes..he noticed.

She talked past him quickly..but he held her left hand" twinkle".

She just freed herself and disappeared into her room quickly.

And three people were grinning ear to ear seeing all this from the sofa..(yuvi.mahi.bubli)

Leela: twinkle teri halwa kaha hai?

Bubli: ha di ..mujeh khana hai..main laati hu kaha hai?

Usha: wah twinkle tune khana banana bhi seekh liya...mahi..dekh...kuch seekho ..

Mahi: maa??...mujeh bhi khana banana aata hai ok?.I know how to boil water.

Yuvi and bubli start laughing.

Mahi: konsi halwa banaya twinkle?  Suji?

Twinkle : ek min ..laati hu..and leaves the dining table..

Yuvi: gajar!

Mahi: ohhh kiska fav hai bhai gajar ka halwa?..Kisi ka toh fav hai na..

Usha: Kisi ka kya ..kunj ka favori...ohhh

All get the point.

Kunj: mujeh ek call karna hai..main bas abhi aaya

He goes to the terrace.

Twinkle comes with few bowls of gajar halwa...she notices kunj is missing from the table.

She serves everyone .and there are only two bowls left in the tray.

Mahi: mai ye bhai ko dekar aati hu..oh no..meri frnd ka birthday hai.. yuvi plz mujeh tumhara laptop desakte ho..?... bubli tu bhi aaja...

Saying so three of them leave .

Usha: twinkle .beta...tu hi dede kunj ko .

Leela: try leja.

Twinkle without saying anything takes the tray.

Leela: ab pata chala ki iski tabiyat ko kya hua.

All on the dining table laugh

Usha: leela...kuch bhi ho... mujeh twinkle bahut pasand hai..woh dono ek dusrko bhi bahut pasand karte hai... mujeh lagta hai ki mujeh meri bahu mil gayi.she said looking at manohar once...he also nodded .

Leela also smiled.

...

Kunj was leaning on the railing and looking towards the door...

She came..gave him his bowl ..and started eating .

"Twinkle he again said.

"Halwa kaisa hai?" She asked.

He placed the bowl in the railing.

Shuru se shuru Kare? He asked.

She smiled looking at the halwa...

Twinkle : phir itne memories ka kya?

Kunj: inn sab ko bhool ne keliye nahi kehraha...bus...in 15 saal ki duri ko bhool ne keliye Keh raha hu

Twinkle:Nahi...in 15 saal mein ache memories bhi hai ...tumhare.

Kunj smiled...toh...bhool nahi..toh continue Kar sakte hai na?..ek chance dogi?

Twinkle finally looked at him.

*Leela aunty ne correct name rakha... twinkle...her eyes are twinkling..soo beautiful * he thought...

Twinkle: ek chance doge?..humein?

Kunj: from u and me ...to us!

Twinkle smiled wider...

And hugged him.

Kunj: love?

Twinkle: love?

He leaned his forehead on hers 

Both of them together said "ha" and smiled .

Yuvi mahi come to terrace..

Kunj has his right arm around twinkle's waist.

Twinkle leaned on kunj ...her head on his shoulder...

Yuvi: hum bhi gharwalo ko apne baare mein batade?

Mahi: hum dono to obvious hai..inn dono ki tarah to nahi..sab humdonoke baare mein jaankar inta surprised nahi honge...

Yuvi: phir bhi ..batana to padega na

Mahi: indono ke batane ke baad..?

Yuvi: done

..

Twinkle : tumne mujeh bachpan mein kabi notice Kiya?

Kunj: Matlab...ha...I noticed that tumne merliye music class chodkar dance join Kiya...ki tumne meri galtiyo ko cover-up kiya ..aur mere Mumbai jaane ek waqt ..tumhari aahkon mein aasu the...

She slightly smiled and looked at him...

Kunj: and maine ye bhi notice Kiya that tum bachpan mein moti thi..

Twinkle: kunj!!!

Kunj: aahan? Try to catch me..and runs away

Twinkle: twinkle taneja ko challenge Kar rahe ho?

He stops at a distance.

Kunj: nahi... would be Mrs.sarna ko...n winks at her

She grins ..runs to him...

Kunj: marry me twinkle.

Twinkle: yes.

He hugs her ...

Bubli: awww kitne cute lag rahe ho.

They(twinj) look towards left ...and notice complete family there and start blushing.

Missed you guys a lot ...
