However, dancing was her passion and hence she got proper classical training in Dance and Choreography from Delhi, she also has a Visharad Degree for the same
It seems destiny has some other plans for her. She initially bagged a runner up position in PTC Miss Punjaban 2012 which is a non fiction pageant
Ankita says she has done many classical dance shows and it was during one such shows that she was referred by one of the friend for the short Punjabi film
Next, the punjaban got her debut role in a short Punjabi Film, Udeek in the year 2013
Ankita Sharma was seen playing the role of Rajjo in the movie which was based on real life incidents and this film was nominated in the Toronto Film Festival
It was at this point that Ankita diverted her focus in the TV and Film Industry
Television: Zee TV: Lajwanti, Yeh Vaada raha; Colors TV: Ek Shringaar-Swabhimaan upcoming in December 2016
Awards: Won Zee Rishtey Awards under the category of Favorite Nayi Jodi (2015) and also a winner of the reality show Ticket to Bollywood
Currently she is playing the role of Naina Solanki in the show Ek Shringaar Swabhiman (Colors)

Naina, a twenty two year old studying at IIT, Delhi, is a happy-go-lucky girl, oftenteased by friends and family as 'deedu ki poonch'.
As far as Naina is concerned, her deedu, is the brightest and the best. And what's wrong with following her sister around, not just physically but in the journey of life as well?
She knows she'd be lucky if she can end up even half as accomplished as her sister! Even Naina gets good grades and is considered one of the best students in her class
However, she's mostly remembered as 'Meghna's sister', but Naina doesn't care and loves her sister very much.
She has always followed Meghna's lead in everything. Even though everyone at home and school is always comparing her to her over-achieving sister and more often than not find her lacking, Naina has never let herself be affected by it.
What most people sometimes see as Meghna bossing over her, Naina knows it is her being overprotective and looking after her like a mother.
How Karan is going to change Naina is yet to be seen. But, it sure will be a beautiful journey to behold.

Reporting an issue:
If you see anyone breaching the rules in any of the threads in the main forum, please do not discuss that in the AT. Instead make use of the "REPORT" button and report the thread by stating the reason clearly. As soon as the Dev Team comes online they would take the necessary action. Similarly, if you see your fellow AT members breaking the rules of the AT, please ask them to stop instead of participating in that yourself. If they still do not refrain from indulging in such activities, please use the "REPORT" button.
However, stalkers please note that should you get a little too trigger happy and continue reporting posts for no reason, you may be liable for penalties in respect of your stalking as well.

Second violation - Another Warning Note
Third violation - Another Warning Note
Fourth violation - Closure of AT for one day
Fifth violation - Closure of AT for three days
Sixth violation - Closure of AT for one week
Seventh violation - AT will be shifted to Celebrity Fan Club section
