The veteran actress Shubhangi Latkar who has made a mark in Hindi, Marathi television and film industry is back to entertain masses with Zee TV's Sanyukt.
The talented actress is seen playing the lead, Ila, opposite yesteryear popular actor Kiran Kumar on the drama.
The reason behind choosing the series, she shared, "Sanyukt is a fantastic show with a good script. It's a big responsibility for me now. I am very thankful to the channel and production house for believing that I could play the character of Ila."
When asked to share details about her character, she shared, "She is a mother as well as a wife. She has to juggle between her husband and kids and is always in a dilemma."
Is the show was on the lines of Baghban, to which she replied, "Not at all. The only similarity is that Baghban and Sanyukt both have mature actors playing the leads. The storyline is very different. Every family will relate to our show."
Is this show her best project till date, to which she replied, "Definitely! It's not only my best project but it is the best show on Indian television till date. It is not a saas bahu drama but is quite real. People will connect to the story. Every role will have importance. In fact, we don't use glycerine for emotional scenes."
Shubhangi is very happy to have Kiran Kumar as her co-star, she stated, "This is not the first time that Kiran and I are working together. We have done a movie called Akash Wani earlier. He is a great actor. In fact, I was very thrilled when I got to know that Kiran would be my co-star in the show."
