Hello Everyone
Recently there has been a lot of rule
breaking on the forum and despite personal warning PMs and official DT
NOTES, members have continued to breach forum rules which has created
unnecessary friction between fan groups and a negative atmosphere on the
forum, which is not accepable. As a result, the DT have decided that
hereafter if any member is seen breaching forum rules, then they will
receive a direct warning level raise.
Bashing
While
we understand and allow members to vent their frustration regarding
storylines etc. this does NOT mean members are allowed to bash other
members and the show's PH, star cast, CVs and channel in the name of
criticism. People are using this to take digs at other members and the
star cast which is NOT acceptable under any circumstances. Many are
taking it far by using abusive words (in abbreviations) against CVs etc.
which is strictly against IF COC and will NOT be tolerated on this
forum. Counter-posting
AT issues
The
purpose of the ATs are to discuss the character/couple in question, it
should NOT be used to discuss another fan group's actions and behaviour
on the forum nor should it be used to criticism or discuss other
characters unless it is in relation to a scene they share with the
character or couple of the AT. For example, in the RagLak AT, swara or
any other character can ONLY be discussed if you are discussing a scene
they shared with either Ragini or Lakshya. Any other discussion is NOT
allowed. Additionally, we have noted that members are
posting comments that are against forum and AT rules and later editing
them - Just because you have edited a comment does NOT mean the DT have
not seen the original content and most certainly does NOT mean you can
get away with breaking rules.
If we see more than 3 instances of rule breaching then the AT will be closed for 24 hours without warning. If after 2 instances of 24 hour AT closure, there are further instances of breaking rules, the AT shall be closed for a week. And
if the issues and rule breaching persists thereafter, the AT will be
closed permanently and removed from the forum without negotiation.

no Live Updates will be allowed in ATs, if you want to discuss live

Fan wars
Increasingly
forum posts now include targeting and attacking other members/fan
groups which has resulted in increased bashing and a negative atmosphere
on the forum which has discouraged many mutual fans (fans of the show
that like both couples) from participating in forum discussions which is
unfair. There is NO need for members to take every opportunity and turn
a discussion topic into a fan war. We have found that members are
picking at the smallest bit of criticism against their favourite and
using this as an opportunity to initiate a fight in many threads.
Seeing this, henceforth we will not be allowing any topics which lead to discussion on the comparisons of the two fangroups or any comparisons of actions between Lakshya. Ragini, Swara and Sanskaar. If a topic is opened regarding any of these characters, discussion will remain on them only and if either of the opposing fandom characters are brought in to prove a point or compare - this will lead to a warning and in the extreme instance the thread will be closed and members will receive a warning level. Threads with Swara or Sanskaar will not have discussion on Ragini or Lakshya and vice versa.

Reporting posts
Some
members are also reporting unnecessary posts which is causing the DT to
take longer in responding to threads that are indeed breaching forum
rules. Therefore, we request members to ONLY report posts that are
breaching forum rules and IF COC - do NOT report unnecessary posts i.e.
some are reporting posts because they include content they do NOT agree
with and label it as instigatory or bashing when in fact it is merely
CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. Please NOTE the purpose of making this post is
NOT to deter members from reporting posts, but merely to remind them
that they should ONLY be reporting posts that are breaching forum rules.
Additionally,
when reporting a post, please report ONCE and allow the DT a minimum of
48 hours to investigate the matter, since some reports require
additional time to investigate - repeatedly reporting the same post or
spamming our inbox with PMs will NOT resolve the issue any quicker.
Lastly, mocking any
member of the DT or questioning the action taken against other
members is NOT allowed. Any action we take is between the DT and the
offending member - we are under no obligation to disclose to
anyone else what action was taken so please do NOT jump to the
conclusion that the DT are biased and do NOT take appropriate action.
Whilst the DT understands that the above implementation does hinder on members freedom of making posts, until such a time the DT can see that members of the forum are able to converse with one another in such a manner that it does not lead to arguments/instigation and fan wars, these rules will remain in place.
