Parag Tyagi beat many well-built actors to bag the title role of Brahmarakshas, where he will be seen as a monster creating havoc in the lives of newly-wed brides. When asked as to what set him apart from the others, he said, "The role required not only a well-built body, but also good acting skills."
Parag was last seen in the show 'Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do'. And the actor has no qualms about doing negative roles as he thinks they are more challenging. "With a positive role, you are just another actor on the show. After playing the good brother in 'Pavitra Rishta', I realised that TV is good for negative roles. Having said that, the role in 'Brahmarakshas' is not entirely negative. It has many positive shades as well," he said.
Meanwhile, the actor who is married to Shefali Zariwala, is not ready to start a family just yet. "We have left it to destiny. It's been two years and we have no plans now."
